BENCHMARK ENTERPRISES

Benchmark was used by our builder to do all the concrete work except the driveway. We have been in our home for 19 months. All the work done by Benchmark is very poor. The garage floor is not pitched correctly and water runs to the back of the garage, or the side of the garage. To get the water out of the garage, we require a large broom to remove it. The front foyer concrete pad is also not pitched corrcetly and when it rains, the water runs towards the front door and we need to take a broom to move the water out. We have a three seasons room in the rear of our home that is elevated. Our home has a walk out basement, and outside the door is a large concrete pad which was poured by Benchmark. This pad is pitched incorrectly towards the basement door, and when we have a blowing rain, or large amounts of water, it all runs towards the basement door. We also need to take a broom and push the water away from the door and foundation/siding.

I HAD TO CALL 28 CONCRETE COMPANIES TO FIND ONE THAT WOULD DO A PROJECT THIS SMALL. BUT TIM TREATED ME LIKE A CUSTOMER WHOSE BUSINESS WAS IMPORTANT TO HIM. HE STARTED BY MAKING AN APPOINTMENT THE DAY AFTER I CALLED, AND ACTUALLY SHOWED UP AT THE TIME HE PROMISED. HE LISTENED VERY CAREFULLY TO WHAT I NEEDED, THEN MADE A COUPLE OF SUGGESTIONS ABOUT HOW HE COULD HELP SOLVE A GRADING PROBLEM VERY INEXPENSIVELY BY MOVING SOME WINDOW WELLS THAT THEY WERE GOING TO BE DIGGING AROUND FOR THE SLAB ANY WAY. THIS SAVED ME A LOT OF MONEY. THE WORK THEY DID WAS EXCELLENT. I HAD SOME SCHEDULING PROBLEMS WITH ONE OF HIS PEOPLE, BUT ON THE WHOLE, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY DID.
