J-Tel has been my go-to provider for purchasing and maintaining my lawn mowers and snow blowers for over 25-years. They carry great products and even better they keep them running. I always have my equipment prepared for the upcoming season by them and that means even a 25-year old Snapper snow blower I still have around will start on the first pull.

The lawn mower wouldn't start. I don't know what they ended up doing but they repaired it to get it going again. It was fine. I found a couple of loose screws that were making some noise when I used it. I did go during a busy period but it still took a few weeks to get it back.

I bought my Toro snow blower from these guys eleven years ago. This winter was just too much for the old machine and it broke. I brought it in after a snow storm to have it looked at to see if it was fixable. The guy there was SWAMPED however took the time with me to see what the problem was, I had to leave it. He called me earlier than expected with the diagnosis and we choose to repair it. Several minutes later I received another call that my machine "died on the table". When I came in they showed me exactly what was wrong and were very informative. We expected more snow storms so I needed a snow blower. They saved me one, since mine was dead. They had two in stock and while I was there they sold the other. The phone was ringing off the hook with people looking for them. they even sold the other one while I was there in person. I could have been easily price gauged however they were honest. I got a new Honda model and was on my way! I really like the way these guys treated me and do business!

This kind of "Customer Serive" cannot be topped.
I have used J-Tel in the past. My riding mower must be picked up and delivered by their truck, a long and costly proposition. When my Toro would not re-start for no appearant reason, I brought my battery in to be checked, which they did for free - good. Next step was to have them haul it in, but from what I had described, they suggested a couple of "tricks" I could try before I had to do that. They were spot on - a safety cut off switch had jiggled loose - my Toro started up immediately. I hate to think what a different kind of repair shop could have charged me, plus being without a mower for at least 3-4 weeks. Wow. J-Tel was great. What more can I say!.

2The Expectation was not set on the front end and I had to keep calling for a finish date. They ended up having my snow thrower a month longer than promised. They did show me some helpful hints on taking good care of my snow thrower.

They had a nice service offer where they picked up both pieces of my equipment for free, did minor maintenance and brought them back. Their price was reasonable for what they did. I like that they have a lot of expertise so that if you are not sure which brand of snowblower or lawnmower to purchase they will help you decide. They also have a good service department and will give you advice in self-repairing your implements if you want. They are really good and get the job done professionally and efficiently. I will use them again in the future.

They are very good. Our snow blower works great. They have a pick-up and delivery service. That's a plus. I go out of my way to use them. They aren't really cheap but they are not expensive. They tell you how long it's going to take and they usually stick to that.

They were very good and trustworthy. Best guys around, family owned business they are fabulous. If its not broken they will not fix it and tell you that there is nothing wrong with it instead of just charging you for nothing. They are just awesome I bought all of my equipment from the them 3 lawn mowers and 2 snow blowers.

It took 3 trips but they finally fixed my mower. They did not charge me after the initial charge which made me happy. They are very friendly and knowledgeable if they actually mow some lawn with the mower. My mower only conked out when mowing so the problem was somewhat difficult to diagnose. I went way out to their store because it was rated well on Angie's List. I used it to mow really tall grass last night and it worked perfectly. I bought a snow blower from them and would use them again but insist that they actually mow or snow blow with the device prior to fixing it.

I had a bad situation with Sears, they came out and did nothing and charged me $99.00. Obviously, my mower still didn't work. The local police came and gave me a warning ticket for high grass in my front yard and said I had 5 days to cut my lawn. I called J Tel, they gave me an honest estimate. I told them of my time situation. They picked up my mower, fixed and cleaned it, delivered it back to my house, and I had my front yard cut in time. Great job! I would definitely use these guys again!!

They were friendly, very knowledgeable about the Toro lawn mower product line, and helped me really find a product that met all of my needs. They were patient, not pushy, and obviously knew much more than the folks at the supply store where I had been shopping. In addition, they were flexible and even offered to deliver the lawn mower out to my home since I was having a hard time making it out to their place of business before it closed. I cannot stress how pleasant of an experience this was with each person I encountered here from a technician to the two owners to another employee. Every step of the way, they far exceeded my expectations.

TOLD ME WHAT IT WAS GOING TO COST AND WHAT HAD TO BE DONE. THEY ARE COMPETITIVELY PRICED. IT TOOK THREE WEEKS BUT IT RUNS WELL NOW.
