He was referred by a chandelier lighting company, but he explained that he was going to be out of town for the next three weeks. During this time, I sought several other quotes and, while the reps were kind, the prices were rather high ($5000 and $2000), Additionally, they all claimed there was no power running through the garage, necessitating total rewiring. I reluctantly decided to go with the $2000 offer, but that gentleman called the day prior to scheduled work to tell me the company had gone out of business. The remarkable thing about was that John Hurley called me back the very next day, and came out immediately. He walked right up to the garage and found that there was, indeed, power running through my garage. All he had to do was rewire an outlet and he had the whole thing fixed! It was only $125 and he did in ten minutes.

They were prompt and did a good job. I also thought they were reasonable in price.

They quoted about $350 for the work and ended up subcontracting the project. He was installing 9-10 lights and he charged $600. I wasn't there when he did the work, but I did leave a check for my nanny to give to them when they stopped by. When I called him to ask about that he said that the ceilings were higher than he expected, but it seems that he took advantage of us. If you live in a nice house be careful because they may charge you extra.

They were on time, did great work and were very quick.

As indicate above, they have been the best electricians (Hurley company) that I ever had over 40 years. Besides giving you a reasonable price (again not outrageous), their workmanship, expertise and professionalism are characteristics that are hard to find these days. You will not find anyone who would take the time to really make sure that you are happy and completely satisfied with the work performed. They back up what they performed. Again, Hurley is the company that I would hire without a doubt or hesitation.

He was fast, courteous and had a good price. I would use John again and i would suggest him to others.

We were quite pleased with the services provided by Hurley Electric and will hire them again in the future if we require additional electrical work.

John was very professional. He had an additional guy come out and help and a project that was supposed to take days was finished in the morning. I thought I was going to spend a lot more money but his efficiency cut down on the labor cost.

They were great. The estimate was for a higher amount. The job took less time than they thought it would, so they reduced the price. I have used this company several times and I have been happy each time I used them.

The two electricians arrived on time(8:00 am). They began to work keeping me informed along the way. They worked until the job was finished, about 2:30 pm. They did an excellent job including cleaning after themselves. They have done several jobs for me all with excellent results.
