- What Service we particularly like at this clinic:
The hydrotherapy package for HEALTHY pets. Dr Patty's 'healthy pet exercise package' on the clinic's hydrotherapy machine -- definitely gives our Giant Schnauzer a workout.
The dog is 2 years old, very healthy, and we want to keep him that way throughout the winter months -- which is why we purchased a package of 10 30-minute sessions, with Dr. Patty, on the hydro-machine.
Wny we purchased the package of sessions because:- (1)It is hard to give a big dog a good workout in a snowy yard -- too much chance for him to slip, tear a ligament, rupture a disc, etc. (2) Walking on icy roads puts both dog and owner at risk.
Trade-off on expenditure:
(1) We feel the cost of the 10-session package is less than any hospital copay I would have, if I slipped on ice or snow and had to repair a bone.
- (2) It is certainly less expensive than any surgeries the dog would have to have if HE slipped on snow or ice and wound up with physical damage
- (3) Finally, it is a heck-of-a-lot more fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
