.We have dealt with Mary in the store at Woodstock many times. She is very knowledgeable and cares more about helping customers than about making money. She walked us through what she expected to see when she got the tractor, based on our synopsis of the performance issues, and gave a very rough estimate. Woodstock went out of their way to come to our house to pick up the tractor and charged us very little for the pickup and drop-off. We received a call in a few days with a detail list of repairs required, and then completed the work very well and the total cost came in below estimates This has been our experience with everything we have brought to Woodstock - i.e. lawnmowers, chain saws, etc... They are always willing to look at anything we bring them. Highly recommend them.

The personal pace drive system of our walk-behind self-propelled lawn
Toro mower had quit working. I took the mower to a repair shop in
Crystal Lake, IL. They fixed the mower by replacing the drive belt
and and quot;adjusting guides and cables to specs.and quot; However, when I took the
mower home and started mowing the lawn I found the self propel was no
better than before I took the mower to Helms for repair. The belt
replacement and adjustment (and $95) had accomplished nothing.
I had two choices, either take the mower back to Crystal Lake or try a different repair
shop. I opted for the second approach and, based on a friends
recommendation, took the mower to Woodstock Power Equipment in
Woodstock, IL. After a quick initial inspection they determined that a
plastic part on the mower handle was broken and would need to be
replaced. Unfortunately the part was not in stock. It took 8 days to
obtain the part and repair the mower. The pleasant surprise this time
was that the repair was covered under warranty and cost me $0.00. The
mower now works as it did before the breakdown. Woodstock Power
Equipment will be getting my future maintenance and repair business.

We've been using their service for years. We had no problem with them.

They replaced the carburetor along with the battery which had a badly corroded terminal. Mower now runs fine.
