A-Timber Works Crane & Tree Service

One of the most professional companies I have ever hired. Watching them work was very impressive. Crew was very polite and each one had their part of the operation and worked together like a well oiled machine. All was done in a day including cleanup! Especially impressive was the way a requested follow up was handled by the owner. No questions or fuss - just came back and took care of it. Have and will continue to recommend them to family and friends

They did an excellent job and went above and beyond what I expected.  They even removed some piles of brush that I had already cut down which they didnt have to do.  John is very knowledgeable and I would recommend them to anyone.

Called A-Timber for an estimate and he arrived quickly. Hired them to remove a line of trees approx. 500 feet long, by 8 feet wide to repair downed power lines. The price was fantastic for the amount of work that was performed. They were punctual and worked quickly. Took only two days to get the job done. The electric lines were repaired and the power was back on promptly.

They were really good. We live fairly far out of town and they came out and gave us a free estimate. They came out on our schedule and walked around. They gave us suggestions and we took them up on some and not on others. We told them what we wanted. They were back out with a full crew once the weather cleared. It was too rainy and they kept in touch. They were very good at communicating. They came out late morning and had all the trees down, the stumps chewed up and the grounds cleaned up and they were out of here around 7. They stayed until they got it done that day. They had adequate people and the right kind of machines to get it done. They had supervisors who drove out to see how the work was going. They called to follow up to see if we were happy. They were very efficient, very communicative and very friendly. The crews were very professional and just kept working until they were done.

In the process of removing this tree, the company left big ruts, cracked other tree roots, and left the woodland area totally stripped of any vegetation that was smaller than a bush. In other words, there was nothing but dirt & mud remaining - no grass, no woodland flowers, or even weeds survived. They even pushed debris onto my neighbor's property. After I called to complain, they returned to re-grade the property. They offered to put grass seed down but this was not acceptable to me, as I have repeatedly failed to get grass to grow in this area (too shady & hilly, plus no water access). I asked for a rebate of $100-200 to purchase plants that would survive - or at least a delivery of mulch to offset my costs in replanting the area. The company refused these option.

They were excellent and they cleaned up the mess and trimmed the trees and even did more then they said and were great and I would recommend them.

They are so good that I have already recommended them to my neighbors. They had a lot of work to do, some trees were 30 feet tall, and they trimmed them without damaging anything else. They cleaned everything really nice.
