Not well.  The company did not use polymeric sand, but instead used regular paving brick sand.  This caused numerous gaps between the bricks.  Brian said that because I didn't request the polymeric sand, he didn't use it.  I would have thought he would have known that the gaps would have appeared if he didn't use the proper sand. He offered to replace the sand at cost, I didn't think I should have to pay for the sand twice.  When power washing the bricks, numerous bricks were damaged; Brian said he didn't cause the chips, but they weren't there before the power washing.  There are also numerous white spots in the sealant.  I called the installer and he said the white spots are caused by moisture being under the sealant.  Overall, I thought it was a very poor job.  This is one of the rare occasions where I have had a bad experience with an Angie's list provider.

Overall, we were pleased with job.  Make sure that your project is a priority project., not a weekend job

BK Brick Specialists offered us excellent craftmanship, responsiveness and professionalism. This was our first time working with BK Brick. Brian came and provided a detailed estimate of the work we were interested in having done. We asked to have the estimates broken down several different ways. He did so and also revised the original estimate a couple times to meet our changing needs. He was reachable to answer our questions both over the phone and via email. He returned our calls promptly. He came on the scheduled date and time to complete the work in a timely manner. Brian lifted some existing brick pavers that had sunk over the years, leveled out some areas and also sanded our large patio, walkway and driveway. The results are perfect. We know we will call Brian again in the future.
