Framing Service
Karen did an excellent job refurbishing the framing of my oil painting. The picture I brought in was very old, the matting was soiled, and the gold paint on the ornate frame had some discoloring. She showed me different mattings that she thought would look nice and we narrowed it down to a matting that enhanced the painting. In addition, the original fillet on the picture was too large and also could not be used with the new matting. She was able to find a narrow gold fillet that matched the frame better than the old fillet. Karen also touched up the paint on the discolored spots on the frame and even provided a hook to hang the picture. The new overall look of the painting looks absolutely beautiful!
