They're very prompt, punctual, and available for the most part. Their secretaries had been great.

I'm really on the fence about this clinic. I do find Dr. M personable but his front desk people are AWFUL!! I have 4 dogs and started coming there in 2011 when I moved back to the McHenry area. I probably have been to the office about 15 times and every time I have any contact with the front desk they have major attitude and are rude. I have spoken personally to Dr M about them but nothing has changed. Also when you walk in the first set of doors the urine odor/ammonia smell almost knocks you over and the examining rooms are filthy noting the same dirt, dust, etc in the corners every time I come. I'm contemplating finding a new vet because I just learned when I brought my dog back for his 2 week recheck,Dr. Brittany King, for reasons unknown, is no longer there. It was because of her I stayed with the practice and overlooked the other issues.

The clinic was clean, but did have the typical vet clinic smell (urine/wet dog). It seemed up to date and new. I dropped my dog off in the morning and was told that he may be ready to go home by noon. I received a call at 11 am that he was ready to go home after his procedure (they closed at noon that day). I was anxious to get him so headed right over. When I arrived back to the clinic, they were swamped with other people. I was unsure of the procedure for pickup so waited at the desk. The receptionist snapped at me that I needed to sign in, so I did. I proceeded to then wait for over 45 minutes for them just bring my dog out from the back. They had clearly forgotten about me because they brought out the dogs of someone who arrived after me. It wasn't until the female vet asked if I had been helped, yet (she had seen me standing there for some time) that the receptionist said something to one of the vet techs. When they brought my dog to me there was no apology for forgetting about me, or really anything said. They just handed me the leash and I left. I was literally the last person left in that office that didn't work there.

They did great! Their prices were very reasonable as well!

They are phenomenal. We have been going to them for 11 years. They don't take appointments but we are there quite frequently just to weigh our dog and get heartguard supplements and flea protection. They are caring and loving and treat all the animals like their own. I will always use them.

I have been taking my dogs here for the last couple of years and this vet clinic is wonderful. They have unbelievable prices and do their work for the love of the animals and go above and beyond. You do not have to schedule an appointment you just walk in and there is usually not a long wait, the staff is very friendly and the doctors are the very best.

In this case, we entered and signed in. Waited approximately 10 min. Dr. Mehanovic examined Tater, asked questions about his diet. Doc did his thing (I'm not going to describe that) and Tater, never fearing him, happily munched his treats afterward, wagging his tail. Paid the bill and left. Dr. Mehanovic is a wonderful vet. He provides superb service for an exceptional value. He never tries to rack up $$ on the bill by ordering unnecessary tests or treatments, but also does not skimp on the quality of the care provided. We drive 40 minutes just to go see him, even though I pass 4 vet offices along the way. His office hours are extremely convenient (it's a walk-in clinic). The dogs love Dr. Mehanovic. They are never scared of him, or he of them.
