Gurney Hightower

Outstanding furniture repair work! Mr. Hightower is an experienced furniture repair professional who is very knowledgable, meticulous and efficient. We recently moved to a new house, and the movers had incorrectly attached the mirror to our dresser. Mr. Hightower securely reattached the mirror and also repaired a drawer glider that was broken. At that point, we were so impressed with his work that we asked him about the pegs that joined our dining table leaves. We had already replaced three broken pegs, but he glued them for a sturdier connection. While doing this, he noticed that the table was very wobbly due to the movers not having re-attached the legs properly. One leg was barely attached and could have caused the table to collapse. We were very glad that he spotted this and repaired it, too. Several years ago (before we were Angie's List members) we used Mr. Hightower for repairing a scratch on an Ethan Allen chair. He did an excellent refinishing job then, too. We highly recommend him for any furniture repair needs!
