Great results. The owner checked all of the circuitry in the multiple dimmer switches in my floor lamp. He determine that the problem was me. I had installed non-dimmable CFL bulbs in error which resulted in problems. He charged me only a minimal inspection fee. Most importantly, he took the time to explain in detail exactly why my error caused the problems.

The piece was badly tarnished, spotted, and dull when we brought it in. Probably about 50 years old, it had beautiful lines and we could not find anything like it anywhere. Some new chandeliers similar in design were $3600. 00. The piece came back and is absolutely stunning. Thanks Steve and Rod!

These guys are expensive but they are very, very good.
They are efficient (if you have a deadline, please tell them when you bring the item in!), courteous and really very helpful; showing me how to buckle in a floor flamp into my sedan to drive it safely, identifying old manufacturers and warning about possible problems, etc. If the person up at the desk doesn't know, he will just call to the back to ask someone else or have them call you later.
The shop itself usually has some old lighting pieces lying around. You can tell that the employees really enjoy seeing the old lamps and fixtures that people bring in.

We had a lamp it had a stained glass and a architects angle to it but is was made out of wood. I accidently broke the casting at the top of the lamp. The guy was very friendly he did a estimate and he called us back with it. He had to make the cast and refabricate the part, we were able to pick it up in early June. And you cant even tell that work was done on it, he matched the materials perfectly with the lamp. We would def recommend him and he does other antiques lamp repairs and chandeliers. He is a terrific guy,a great artist and he does great work.

I delivered the lamp to the store. Although it took a week to get an estimate, the work was finished the next day.
The store is full of repaired lamps and replated objects, all high quality restorations. I will use them if I need something replated.
It was hard to find someone to do this--the Angie's List entry didn't show up when I searched. I found it on recommendation from a lighting store.

They do high quality restorations. My experience with them has been fine. It was $150 for repairing the lamps and $150 to repair the old magazine stand. I will use them again.
