+ -1 moreTwo times, approximately 1.5 years later each of my last 2 Garmins broke down for differring problems that could not be resolved with consultation from GARMIN, uploading software and ... The thing is that in both cases REI returned the watches for a full refund!! I am so appreciative of REI and their stellar customer service and willingness to stand behind each product they sell - even if the manufacturer will not. I highly recommend REI and will buy my next watch and other related needs from them as time moves on....not sure about being a GARMIN and so appreciative of a company that is so well run! Have also had great experiences with rental offerings however that is another story :)
Description of Work: I have purchased 2 GARMIN watches over the last 4 years from REI. The watches are very expensive and sophisticated. In doing my research I had seen that the company itself offers a poor warranty and that there is variance amongst customer satisfaction. I chose REI due to competitive pricing, membership benefits and stated warranty policy of 100% satisfaction.
