ANGELA'S CARPET

Incredibly cheap. They have very basic colors to choose from. They were punctual, polite and worked hard. They didn't finish the first day like they thought so we let them come in with a lock box. Everything was fine. The quality is pretty awful though. The carpet itself is soft and looks nice but it feels like there's no padding underneath. They left us a patch of extra carpet at the foot of the stairs (kind of like a floor mat with no padding under) and it feels the same as the carpet that was installed. They must have placed some sort of screws or bolts or something because I can feel bumps in random places (it was bare before so I know these bumps didn't exist before). I can see some of the seams were two carpets meet. Some tack strips along the walls were poking out and he told me to just take a hammer and bend them in. The edges look hammered in too. Not very nice looking. I always thought that I didn't really care too much about the carpet upstairs since we plan to host mostly downstairs but that non-existant padding made a bigger difference than I thought it would. OVERALL Experience - not bad if the area is small and you don't plan to be there for the long run. Price - They were the cheapest out of all our estimates. Quality - The carpet is fine but the non-existant padding, the bumps, the seams... Responsiveness - Fast if you call him. Punctuality - Cancelled our first appointment due to car not starting. Not a big deal. Professionalism - Very nice and professional (except when he told me to take a hammer to the tack strips...) All in all, you get what you paid for.
