Feb 2013
Last July my well
failed. I called Allabaugh Well
Co., who determined that the pump had failed. In their attempt to remove the pump, it became hopelessly
wedged in the well casing. I was
told that my only option was to drill a new well. Being desperate for water, I told Mr. Brian Allabaugh to
proceed with the project. I paid
his required $2,000 deposit.
Subsequently, I realized that I should have obtained additional
estimates and notified Mr. Allabaugh to delay the work. Bids from two other very competent
drillers were substantially lower.
I asked Mr. Allabaugh to return my deposit. We agreed to an $800 charge for the work done plus a $50.00
fee for completing the drilling permit application (which had not yet been
submitted). I received a refund
check for $1100.00, which was $50.00 less than the agreed upon amount. It is now February. After many, many, many phone calls
requesting the remaining $50.00 and Mr. Allabaugh?s many promises to send it, I
still have not received this payment.
As a result, I question the integrity of Alllabaugh Well Co. and would
not again employ their services.

Response from Allabaugh Well Co
"This is Marc Allabaugh, Brian Allabaugh's son. I just wanted to let you know that I was not aware of this situation. If your address is right I will try to get a check sent to you this week."

They got the job done. They left a little mess out side so not to happy with that.
