I had a ramp built so me and my husband and dogs would not fall. The old steps was getting bad. I also wanted some kind of covering to protect us from falling. They had these strips and put them in the middle of every 2 boards. I ask several several times as they were putting these down. Will these strips stay and can we shovel over it and that it wouldn't come off. His answer was no and no they would stay in place. I asked if they would stay even in rain and snow and ice. And can I shovel over it. He said yes and yes and yes. Okay then that fantastic. No it wasn't. First frost, my husband fell down the ramp as the strips were coming off! All 3 dogs fell at others time just during frost and some slight icing. I texted him and told him my husband fell & those strips are not staying down. What should we do as he said they would stay. He suggested a roll of grip paper and cover the whole ramp and then staple it down or nail it down. I ask how much (thinking that he would honor his job). Said the roll of grip paper is $40 & he would charge me $100 in labor. A total of $140. I said no thank you, that was too much as we already paid for the gripped ones. Never answered me. So his work is not honored if something they said will work didn't...We live on a tight budget and we are elderly and I am so very upset about it. I would not refer this man (sorry) for any other jobs for anyone.

The ramp went up pretty fast. And when they went to fix the electric to my shed, they found it was extremely dangerous! And disconnected the power to the shed as it was very unsafe. And animal had chewed through the wire and left it completely exposed to any person or animal. And accident waiting to happen for sure.  And they didn't feel comfortable fixing it without redoing it all. So we have to wait on that project. But we will call Erich's Handyman Service again to help fix it.  Back to the ramp. The dogs didn't know how to walk on the new ramp that was for their benefit also. And 2 days after it was installed, the rain came and it was so nice to go down & up on it and not worry about falling through....

Went well.  Gave accurate estimate of cost and materials each time.  Work was completed in a timely fashion.

Wired, insulated , door opener and covered walls and ceiling with plywood.

Completed in one day to my satisfaction.

He arrived early, was professional, was polite and did a excellent job.
