They must have done well, because I continued to use them. I would recommend them, I would say if you need air conditioning, if you had humidification or the kind of things that we use them for, you try them.

1924 house. We have to buy a new gas boiler furnace. Sweet's is the only shop for us. No others will be considered.

I thought they were good. They improved the problem because not all rooms get equal heating and cooling. They were reasonable and easy to work with. I felt that they were not trying to up sell. They did good work.

Sweet's provided all the information we needed to make a decision about using them and which product s were best suited for our home. The installers were professional and explained what they were doing throughout the process. We are very happy with both products and would utilize Sweet's again should the need arise. By the way, there are no maintenance contracts one is required to sign for maintaining the furnace or air conditioner. One simply calls when maintenance or service is needed.

During installation of a new furnace off our bedroom a workman knocked a TV out of a wall unit and it fell out of the unit breaking both the TV and a bath fixture in the other room. I was told by Dick at Sweet's that they were covered and their insurance company would pay for the costs to repair the damage. The total costs for repairs came to $3800.00 of which their insurance company Liberty Mutual notified me that they would only pay $1294.25 since the items were old. The items broken were designed as part of the overall design and could not be replaced with any other bath items including the faucets, which had to be special ordered. Since the insurance was only paying approximately a third of the total costs I called Sweets and was told that no one would talk to me about getting the difference of the costs I personally covered. I was told they would not talk to me and to take it up with the insurance company which said to even get the $1294,25 I had to sign a form releasing them from any other further damages of any kind. I now have had to take them to Small Claims court to try and get reimbursed for the maximum I can get in Small Claims court in Cook County. which is $3000. It is sad that after ten years of service and giving them over $15,000 for two new furnaces, service calls, twice yearly maintenance check and cleaning of our equipment that it would have come to this. I would have thought that keeping me as a client would be worth the $2000.00 difference their insurance company wouldn't pay. I got a nice furnace and air conditioner, but a trashed bathroom that I had to live with for months.
Lesson learned, check your contractor's insurance contract with their insurance company. Look to see if the insurance will cover total damages or a percentage of any damages that occur during the contractor on your premises.

Unit failed totally over the weekend and they were not available. other company diagnosed a clogged drain line which should have been obvious.

Everything has turned out very well. I was concerned because the house is old and I did not know what to expect but Dick explained everything they were going to do in a way that I could understand. Which I appreciated very much. And he recommended a great electrician that upgraded our electrical panel from 100amps to 200amps to accommodate the extra electrical requirements.

I was very pleased with their service from the time I contacted them for an appointment till the completion of the work. The gentleman arrived within five minutes of the scheduled time. He was very pleasant and professional. He worked on the furnace and explained what he did and said that they were both in good working order. I only needed to make sure they had new filters about once a month, especially the furnace in the basement. Asked if I had any questions. He completed the job without any pressure for additional work or service. I will be sure to contact them in the Spring for the air conditioners.

Jerry was very thorough in inspecting everything and explaining various issues with our furnace and A/C unit. We had hired another company to install a new air conditioner for us several years ago and they may charge a bit less for service, but they always pushed for us to use their other services or tried to sell us service contracts. We have more confidence that the folks at Sweet's know what they're doing and take pride in their work, so we will continue to use them in the future instead of the "big company who advertises a lot." Also, we needed to have some duct work in our garage re-wrapped with modern insulation and they were accomodating in doing this for us, when we had trouble finding other companies to do the work. Since they were able to help us out with this unique project, we were happy to hire them for our routine maintenance as well.

It was a special deal on Angie's List and Angie's List did the billing and everything. The experience was very good. I haven’t had that done before, so I don’t have any comparison to make, but they were very polite, very efficient, and they were very knowledgeable about the job they were doing.

On a warm summer morning i discovered that the central air conditioner was not working. After checking the usual supects, circuit breakers and fuses, I concluded that it was problem was in the outside unit. I called Sweet's late moning and I wasn't suprised to hear that there were several calls in line ahead of me. I was told that it might be late afternoon before a serviceman got to me. Less than two hours later I received a call that the serviceman was on his way. He checked out the unit and replaced a defective contactor and the air conditioner was up and running.

Roger was extremely cheerful and pleasant to deal with. From advertising I've seen, we may have found a more competitive price elsewhere, but Sweet's installed our furnace in 2002 and we have used them each year for maintenance.

We found them through a list of top companies and that’s how we contacted them. They were highly recommended although they were expensive. While the cost was high, their estimate was accurate. Their on-site work was extraordinary, successfully dealing with some installation challenges. Three years after, we are very satisfied with the systems purchased and the work they did. We use them for yearly servicing of the furnace.
