THE INITIAL ROOFING WORK SEEMED OK. ONE AND A HALF YEARS LATER, WE DISCOVERED WATER DAMAGE TO OUR BEDROOM CEILING. I DISCOVERED A SOFT SPOT IN OUR ROOF WHERE WE WERE EXPERIENCING WATER DAMAGE. THIS SOFT SPOT SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED BY THEIR GUARANTEE. I CALLED REPEATEDLY ABOUT THIS SO THAT HE WOULD CHECK OUT THE PROBLEM. HE DID NOT REPLY TO ANY OF MY MESSAGES. HIS SECRETARY ASSURED ME THAT HE WOULD RETURN MY CALLS. WE WAITED FOR ABOUT 7 WEEKS FOR A RESPONSE. WE COULD NOT WAIT ANY LONGER, SO THE DAMAGE WAS FIXED BY ANOTHER CONTRACTOR FOR ABOUT $375. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIRING LAKESIDE ROOFING. THEY WERE EAGER TO DO THE INITIAL WORK, BUT WHEN IT CAME TO HONORING THEIR 10 YEAR LABOR GUARANTEE, THEY WOULD NOT EVEN RETURN MY PHONE CALLS. I DO NOT BLAME THEM FOR THE SOFT-SPOT IN THE ROOF, BUT IT IS INFURIATING THAT THEY WOULD NOT EVEN TAKE A LOOK AT THE PROBLEM, OR RETURN OUR PHONE CALLS.

MR HAWLEY MAY SPEAK SOFTLY BUT MANAGES HIS CREW VERY WELL. HE WAS ON SITE AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH DAY, VISITED DURING THE DAY AND WAS THERE WHEN THE CREW PACKED UP EACH EVENING AND ENSURED THE SITE WAS CLEANED EVERY EVENING. THIS WAS THE BEST ROOFING EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD-THIS IS MY THIRD TIME HAVING A ROOF DONE.
