When our sprinklers were serviced, our water heater started pouring out water. The shut off valve was broken so the only way to stop it was to turn off all the water to our house. We called Dan and he came out right away even though it was evening, evaluated the problem and replaced the shut off so that we could turn the water back on to the house and give my husband time to do his research and choose which water heater we wanted. When we chose the heater, it was a more expensive energy star model and Dan's regular supplier didn't carry it so he drove all the way to Elgin to get it. He came right on time for the installation and worked for about two hours to install it. He spent a lot of time discussing different options with me and then my husband when he returned home on the night he came to fix the shut off. His charge for replacing the shut off was only $50 even though it was evening and he was here about two hours. He told us his charge for replacing a water heater is $300 plus the cost of the heater we chose. We were not charged any travel or trip charges even though he drove all the way to Elgin. We were very pleased with his service and are happy to recommend him.
