I had seven boxes of documents to shred and putting through home or office shredder would have taken forever.

They have a mobile unit that will come to your home or office. The shredder is mounted inside their truck and just the shredder part is probably nearly the size of a minivan. They make appointments for either morning or afternoon, but were not able to commit to a specific time. I guess that would be because when they roll up to a customer's site they really don't know what will be there and it could be a long visit or a short one, but I could live with a half day window.

I had the boxes in the trunk of my car parked in front of my house, so when they rolled up I just opened my trunk and watched while they fed my documents into their shredder.

They gave me a certificate of destruction (in case you need that for your company's document destruction policy). They would have come in and carried the boxes out themselves if I'd wanted them to but having the boxes ready and waiting for them outside meant the whole process took about 10 minutes.

This is our 3rd time using Beaver Shredding, and like the other two times, everything went great. They are out in the Naperville area every Friday, and one of the guys said that they could come out sooner if need be. I had about six garbage bags of documents that they took to their truck and shredded within minutes.

I had approximately 7 cardboard boxes of sensitive legal and financial documents that I needed to dispose of securely. I chose Beaver because they appeared to allow you to get up close to the shredder and actually eyeball the materials being
shredded instead of viewing the process on a video monitor mounted on the outside of the truck. This turned out to be
correct.
When I called for the appointment, I was told they would be in my area early Friday afternoon. It was still early in the week when I
called. But that wasn't a problem since it gave me time to gather more materials together, box them, and move them to
the garage.
About midday Friday, I received a call from the guys on the truck notifying me that they were on their way and would arrive in about 20 minutes. Right on time, they showed up. One man took my boxes and started moving them to the truck. The other man opened the side door of the truck and prepared the shredder.
Something happened at that moment that I found somewhat telling. A gust of wind blew a small receipt (about the size of a credit card) off the top of one of the boxes. The man lifting those boxes could've simply ignored this tiny scrap of paper and proceeded with his work. It wouldnt've been a big deal, right? Just one little piece of paper. A piece of paper with my credit card number
on it. But he was conscientious. He stopped and chased down this one scrap of paper for several feet and put it back in the box. I thank him for that.
Anyway, they allowed me to peer into the truck's cargo box and eyeball the shredding process. No video monitor on the outside of the truck. That made me feel better about handing these papers over. The shredding process itself was very fast. In about
10 minutes, they were done. They gave me a certificate of destruction and drove off.
I'm satisfied with the service Beaver Shredding performed and will not hesitate to call them again when I need more shredding done.

It went very well, I watched as they dropped documents in shredder in the truck. The service took 15 - 20 min.

we contacted Beaver Shredding and luckily they said they would be in the neighborhood the next day and would be able to do the job for us. They were prompt and efficient and we could view the documents being shredded right there on the truck. The price was reasonable-$70 for whatever would fit in a 70 gallon barrel. Would definitely use them again.

Excellent experience.

They schedule a half-day window, within which they will come to your location and do the work. They called me from their truck during that time window and arrived in about ten minutes. The two guys in the truck promptly carried my 16 file boxes of paper out to their truck, shredded all the paper, stacked the boxes neatly and brought them back into my house. I wrote them a check for the agreed-upon amount, and they were on their way.
The guys were very courteous and helpful.
Beaver charges a flat rate per container (depending on size and type of container), which they tell you when you schedule the appointment. There are no added charges for weight or for driving to your location.

Beaver Shredding provided excellent and thorough information over the phone which enabled me to compare their price structure and services to other shredding companies I was considering using. Beaver showed up on the scheduled day, before the anticipated time, and had the job complete within minutes. A very successful endeavor. I will use them again when necessary and recommend them to others. And their price was the best price I received!!!!Beaver

This company was 20 dollars more expensive than a competing company; the other company has had complaints filed with the BBB. We are getting our house ready to sell, and the amount of papers that are accumulated over 20 years is massive. Even with a home shredder and a firepit, I still had too much. They showed up early in the time frame, took my containers of papers from the house to the truck, brought the containers back, I paid, they gave me a receipt, and that was it!! So simple; I arranged everything with emails. When we move again, if we are in their service area, no question who we will call.

When I called them, they said there was a $70 minimum charge for up to 300 pounds. They arrived exactly on time. They said they wanted to make sure my driveway wasn't damaged, so they didn't put the machine on it. I actually had an extra 2 boxes over what I said, but they were very accomodating and just did it anyways. The workers were very nice, and it was a great experience. I was even able to watch them shred it.
