Updated my previous review (5 stars) to a 1-star review. Long story short: Avoid this company.
First of all, the product and the people applying it are not certified. They burned my grass because the technician applied too strong a concentration of crabgrass killer, which also damaged other plants I have—grapevines and raspberry bushes.
Their service manager came to inspect the lawn and claimed the issue wasn’t due to the chemicals, but rather that the problem was caused by my mower tractor—even though the blades are sharpened every spring.
Very disappointed and very unprofessional. When I asked for their business insurance information, they refused to provide it. I will submit a complaint to the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and the Better Business Bureau, especially because of the damage to my 3-year-old plants.
Gary, the service manager, told me, “It’s just a plant” 😡—an incredibly disrespectful and dismissive response.
I’ll leave pictures here so you can make the right decision. If it hasn’t happened to you yet, you’re lucky—but I recommend avoiding this company and cancel the service.
For context: this happened in the middle of May, when the grass is green everywhere else, but my lawn looks terrible.
