DO NOT do business with them if you have weeds in your lawn. The worst service ever and even with their 100% satisfaction guarantee, they refused to refund money. Apparently they can’t help prevent weeds, they can only help to temporarily get rid of them. They do spot treatment and don’t cover your whole grass! My lawn looked wise after their service and I have pictures as proof. So many weeds all over! I went with them thinking a smaller company would give attentive care and care for its clients needs. My neighbors that use a big box company at a fraction of the cost have better looking lawn than mine. They basically said there wasn’t anything more they could do and decided to severe our contact in the middle of the season! The worst customer service and lawn care I have ever dealt with! Save yourself some time and agony and chose another company.

"After multiple inspection and free service calls, multiple emails, and multiple conversations, explaining what results were possible and what were not, we decided to end this relationship. Contrary to her comments, we both refunded the remainder of her unused program and did multiple broadcast weed control applications in addition to spot treatment. She had terminated her previous lawn care company because she wasn’t happy with their results. Correcting a lawn with major issues is a process; it doesn’t usually happen in three months (she started with us in April this year), regardless of the homeowner’s desires. We are sorry she wasn’t happy with our service and wish her well with her next lawn care provider. Sincerely, Mark Utendorf - Owner"

We've worked with many other lawn care providers and Emerald Lawn Care has been the most professional of all of them. I have repeatedly recommended them to family and friends. I have a very huge yard and to see them work every inch of it makes me feel like it's worth the money I pay them. They patiently check on the conditions of my lawn before applying fertilizer. If conditions are not Optimum, they will not hesitate to return another day to do it.

Emerald did a great job with our lawn which was neglected by the previous owners. Our grass had significant weed and creeping Charlie issues. Emerald came and put together a program to fertilize and treat our yard. They came out five times this year for $65 each. The billing is very professional and provides information on how our lawn is doing. They have been doing a great job!

Excellent!! They are knowledgable, helpful, easy to work with, and provided the desired results. Locally owned and operated. I was using another company (franchise with different person each trip) with poor results (excessive weeds and constant attempt to sell unnecessary services) Based upon my dissatisfaction with prior service provider, I did some research. A friend suggested Emerald Green. They had excellent reviews on Craig's List. Now, I know the excellent reviews are well earned. At Emerald Green, they listened to my concerns and provided helpful advise. They were out at the scheduled time and provided amazing results. Within two weeks, virtually all weeds were gone and lawn looks healthier. I'm anxious to see how much better my lawn will look after a full season with Emerald Green.

I was unhappy with a company that provided this service last year, so this year I checked out Angie's List and chose Emerald Lawn Care based on their good reviews. I purchased their whole-season service and so far I am very pleased. They were responsive to and addressed a recurring invasive creeping violet problem from last year and the weeds are now gone. Our lawn looks great. NOTE: I gave an A for Price only because I was required to include it. I did not compare their price with many other companies but I suppose they are probably similar.

Good so far, they are prompt and fair on price. I like their customer service more than other companies, they are more real and upfront about what you really need/want. They also don't call you continuously when contemplating signing up, as the Weed Man Company. I took advantage of the upfront season payment to get a slight discount on the entire season price.

We're very satisfied with them. We've only had on treatment so far but they did come out once and noticed there was standing water and said we'll come back when it's dryer. Then they came back a day when the lawn was dry. We bought a whole package of services. The whole treatment plan for the year was in the neighborhood of $330 dollars but that includes probably ten different treatments. I think their pricing is reasonable.
