We paid an additional fee for the part and labor and waited about a week for the part to come in and for someone to come in and fix it. After installing the new part it worked for a few days and then we started blowing fuses and having the same problem as before. We called the company to report the problem and they took several hours to get back to us and then said that they wouldn't be able to come out for several days and that it would be another fee. Ultimately, we ended up hiring a different company that told us that the issue was actually with some lose wires on our ac unit not the motherboard. Air Blue did end up refunding us some of the money that we spent, but it was a very frustrating process.

The guy who came out was nice and explained what he was looking for. He did not "fish" for things that were wrong or try to pressure us to buy things we don't need. He actually told us he was surprised but that we did not need to recharge our system and everything looked good - except that our exterior compressor should be washed because of dirt in the fins. He did that quickly and for a reasonable price - I forget how much but I want to say $60. It was obviously dirty so that was fine. He offered to replace our (old analog) thermostat for a very high price ($160), but didn't push it when I said no thanks. I knew they sold them at Target for $30 and I replaced it myself in about 20 minutes.

I purchased and Angie's List Deal for a $49 furnace tune-up Technician gave me courtesy call letting me know he would arrive in 10-15 minutes. He showed up at the scheduled time and was kind enough to take off his shoes upon entering my home. He conducted a 25 point inspection of the furnace. Upond completion of his inspection he showed me two areas of concern. He explained the problem with the rusty flame sensor and how the humidifier was not properly installed by the previous homeowner (it was actually dripping watter). The technician did not pressure me to make any repairs, but simply explained it to me and what could happen over time. I asked asked him for a quote of the repairs which he provided. The quote was reasonable so I authorized the repairs which he completeted in a timely fashion. Upon completion of the repairs, the technician showed me the new flame sensor and how he went about properly installing the humidifier. I plan on contacting Air Blue Heating and Cooling in the future for all my HVAC needs.

The service went well. The technician found an issue with the system and gave us an estimate for the repair. The pricing for the estimate was very high so we went with another company. One technician came out and did a nice job diagnosing the problem. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

Good communication, fair price

Don entered my home and granted my request to take his shoes off because my carpeting was relatively new and with the leaking it could certainly make the carpet dirty. He worked quietly and explained what he found. He was on time, courteous and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable having him in my home. I respected the good work he did in order to help me.

Air Blue came out the day after I contacted them. The guy was on time, courteous, professional and he put little booties over his shoes when he came into the house. The original call was for an A/C service but he up-sold me on the furnace service too -- something that would normally bother me but I went for it because it's something I've neglected for a while. He advised me on a few things like how to properly use the humidifier and how to keep the basement from feeling damp in the summer. All very good information. As far as the A/C it appeared most of the Freon had leaked out over the last few years so he added that plus something along with it that should plug any leaks if they're small enough. I was told the reason for the extremely high cost was that my older A/C unit uses an older/obsolete type of Freon that is becoming harder and harder to get. So all told to job cost about 10 times the original deal. But I knew, since the A/C was not pumping out cold air, that it was going to be extra. All things considered I'm happy to have my air conditioning back.

The technician was awesome. Absolutely no pressure for any other services. My sister was at my house to meet the technician, and he called me at work to recommend cleaning the outside unit, which I knew we needed, and repairing a small leak, which he said we could wait on until next summer, with no worries. I went ahead and did both! Very happy with the service and would use them again.

It went well and scheduling was easy. The technician was punctual and knowledgeable.

The technician showed as expected around 8am and called me because no one answered the door (my son was there but still sleeping). I called and woke up my kid who let the tech in for the analysis - within 30 minuted the problem was identified, I approved the repair and within another30 minutes the problem was resolved. A/C back in operation.

This will be the last offer I buy from Angie's List. They never go as planned an always cost more than just the offer price. I suspect we will see a 20/20 episode on this phenomenon in the near future. As soon as he opened up the HVAC Compressor, he said it too dirty to clean under what was detailed under the offer and said it would be another $60 to clean it. I looked at it and only saw one of four sides that needed cleaning so I bickered with him and he reduced the price to $20. I guess the question is what is covered under the ?Cleaning? portion of this offer? That set the tone for the balance of the visit. Then I am informed that I am in need of Freon, a small amount, at $165 per pound, fantastic. On-line prices for Freon were around $100 to $120 per pound from what I could glean on-line. I ended paying a total $175 on top of the $49 for the 26-point check-up. As for the 26-points, unless you follow them around and check off each one as they do it they skip a few here and there. I know for a fact he skipped looking at my thermostat because I had a clear line of sight to it and he never checked it. The HVAC compressor is quieter since the service but overall the whole system does not seem to perform as well as it did before the service. The air is not as cold. It?s funny how that works. You try some preventive maintenance and it back fires in your face. More than likely, I will have to call another firm next year to check the system out. Trust me; I will not be using one of the Daily Deals. You are swimming with sharks with those offers, more than likely you will get bit.

Friday afternoon my A/C stopped working. I sensed the blower motor had gone bad. Looked on Angie's list for "A" players for HVAC and liked the responses for Air Blue. Gave them a call at 4:30pm on a Friday in hopes to get someone our on Saturday or Sunday for a look. Air Blue tech came out by 6:00pm on Friday and confirmed blower is bad on furnace. gave me 3 options for repair/replacement. By Monday afternoon I was back up and running with a new furnace. Work was great, price was fair and great overall communication.

What a great experience! My Air Conditioning was on the fritz Friday night. It was mid 80's on Saturday and my house temperature was climbing. I went on Angies List and saw that Air Blue was highly rated. Konrad called me ASAP and set someone to come out within two hours...on a SATURDAY!!! Luke gave the AC unit a 20 point inspection. He advised us on some improvements. Our problem was solved. Highly recommend this company.

The service went well. We had them install a full AC unit. The first installation the system was not charged properly, so they had to come back to charge the unit correctly. Two technicians came out and completed the service in about 4 hours. The technician did good work and I had no problem scheduling the deal. They came out immediately to put in some free on in the old system since it was not working, and it was very hot out. The pricing for the free on was very reasonable.

Great experience - Luke was professional and knowledgeable and found ways to save us money on our cooling bills.

Luke was very thorough and explained everything he was doing and answered all of my questions along the way. I just purchased my home in July 2013 and had no idea when the a/c was last inspected. Luke told me the unit was 14 years old, the system is working properly at this time but did recommend that the blower wheel be cleaned and to install a booster. I believe that the cost for both is less than $300; much less than replacing the entire unit! I was called about 30 minutes prior to his arrival just as I was told he would. The entire inspection took about an hour. I would highly recommend this company for your heating and cooling needs.

Customer service with this company is really quite wonderful. The initial rep went above and beyond to accommodate a tight schedule. The tech called on the day of service to advise when he would be arriving and was very courteous and professional. He explained the need for refrigerant and the cost. The A/C seems to be running more efficiently. A follow up question later was met and answered, by both the rep and the tech, with the same friendly courtesy. The company's personal touch was a very pleasant surprise.

My experience was great! They were timely and considerate. The technician was easy to talk to and he seemed to have his act together. I accidentally locked myself out of the house and he was completely patient during that time.
