Very well. We were first time home buyers and Susann Rhoades did a fantastic job advising us on the process and finding us the right home. She made what could have been a very stressful situation very calm. She made sure we knew exactly what needed to be done at each step and that we were prepared for closing. The closing process was also very calm and smooth. She is exactly the kind of Realtor you want with you when you are selling or buying a home.

Excellent, couldn't have asked for a better experience.

On a friend's recommendation, we contacted Sue in May 2013 when we were thinking about selling our house the following year. Even though the sale was a long way off, Sue went right to work. She walked through the house, gave us good advice on how to fix it up for sale, and then returned with a large notebook full of information about comparable house sales in our area. We liked her enthusiasm and responsiveness, and we decided to list the house with her in February 2014 with the idea of moving out in May.
We got busy preparing the house for sale - putting our literally thousands of books in storage, repainting the interior, fixing things that needed fixing. Sue was always quick to respond to phoned or emailed questions. And then in December she phoned me. She knew of a couple who were looking for a townhouse in Wheaton, and she wondered if she just possibly might show them ours. and quot;Well,and quot; I said, and quot;we're still planning to list it in February, and it's not quite ready for showing. But if they're willing to overlook all the boxes in the basement ...and quot;
Long story short--they liked it, we signed with Sue, they bought it, and we moved at the end of February!
Moving out of state and leaving a house we've loved for over 25 years is very hard to do, but thanks to Sue, the house sale went extremely smoothly. Oh, and she helped us find a good realtor in Maryland who is helping us look for a new house now. I highly recommend Sue Hedlund.
(P.S. I didn't list a price because realtors work on a percentage basis. Sue's percentage was reasonable.)

Lance was recommended to us by a contractor we had previously worked with. He was our 2nd realtor and came along when we were under a tight deadline. He and Hanna immediately responded to our request for information and set up viewings within a few days. He was very responsive to our requests and worked hard to keep the lines of communication open. During our first viewing at a house, he asked directly and quot;what do you need from me--more information about the house, less, more conversation/less while viewing the propertiesand quot; he really wanted to make sure that we were getting the information we needed without him being overbearing or providing too many details. We also had to look at most properties twice due to my husbands work schedule and that was no problem at all for Lance. He always made time in the evenings or on weekends to show us houses 2 or 3 times. He was also very honest about what he thought about homes when he didn't think they were a good fit. We told him our and quot;must have'sand quot; in a home and he pushed back when we tried to settle because we were feeling a little panicked and just wanted to find a house. He reminded us that we had time and there was more inventory, so we shouldn't compromise on our and quot;must have'sand quot;.

Once we found the house we wanted to make an offer on, Lance was very honest and forthright about our chances (it was a long-shot out of our price range) and worked with us to determine a price we were comfortable with, as well as the details of the contract that would make our offer more appealing. Once negotiations began he was very respectful of our price limitation and did NOT pressure us to go outside of our price range. He worked with the sellers agent and we were able to get the house we wanted at a price we could afford.

Hanna handled the details regarding the inspection and planning prior to close. She provided information for water,electric,cable etc so I didn't have to track down all the phone numbers to get utilities etc set up in our new house.

Both Lance and Hanna worked diligently to help us get the home we wanted and stuck with us until every detail was complete and the deal was closed.

I would highly recommend Lance and Hanna when buying (and I'm sure selling, although I don't have personal experience) a home. Lance has clear expertise in the area and knows the real estate business, which in this economy is crucial. They are high energy and work hard to pay close attention to detail.
