Roger quickly responded to my call and we scheduled a time to come out and look at one of our basement cracks that had been highlighted in our home inspection. He was professional and thoughtful. I was quoted a very competitive price on the fix and his work comes with a lifetime warranty for the house that is transferrable. I'm a new homeowner and had lots of questions, but he responded in a knowledgeable and non-judgemental way. I highly recommend him for any waterproofing needs!

Roger was very thorough and completely professional from the initial inspection, determining the issues whereby we had basement foundation leaks at previously repaired cracks (not by Matson, but previous homeowner), a window well leak issue, as well as caulking of basement glass block windows. The pricing for the work was more than fair and reasonable. Roger has a background in concrete and building restoration and engineering...he's an expert at this, not "just a guy a big company hired and trained to sell services". Roger knows what the issues are and fixes them correctly HIMSELF...not by hired hands...plus if there is a secondary issue that arises that's related to the first , he will return and make sure that the basement or crawl space gets waterproofed. We had four foundation cracks re-injected from where previous owner did not solve the issues, an escape window opening concrete sealed, and caulking to two glass block basement windows. There have been three severe thunderstorm days since the repairs were made that would have surely shown water in the basement before the repairs...basement is bone dry now after Roger took care of things!!! Very happy!!! I hired them to do a foundation crack in my crawl space. They were a no show and a no-call. I called them twice and never heard from them. My husband took the afternoon off to be at the house for the appt but no call and no show and no returning of calls and texts. Very disappointed in their lack of professionalism.

The projected cost was quite a bit less than I anticipated and he noticed another area that may or may not be leaking (couldn't tell for sure if the puddle was the initial leak only or not) but said if I found out at a later date that the second potential spot was also leaking he would come back to fix it and wave the minimum charge requirement since the repair would be less than that.

Roger was professional, prompt, and reasonable priced. He did not try to upsell work to make extra money. He quoted the most cost-effective solution and gave advice as needed.

Pleasant to deal with and did acceptable job repairing foundation but would have left property covered in cement pieces if I hadn't repeatedly pressured him to clean it up. He told me he thought I would/should just buy more mulch to cover it up.

I would definitely work with Matson again.

Roger Matson is a real pro, great experience, lowest cost and best of all, does the work himself. His technique to waterproof a foundation crack (non structural) was exactly the same as US Waterproofing but his price was half of theirs and the work done within 3 days of the estimate whereas US Waterproofing wanted me to wait another 6 weeks. I would hire Matson again and recommend him to anyone needing waterproofing.

Roger was top notch. Not only did he consistently show up on time, but they finished the project early and guaranteed his workmanship for the lifetime of the home.
