MARC POMPE'S PIANO TRAFFIC

It went very poorly. They took forever to refinished it (8 months) and then it wasn't done the way I wanted it. I had a black vintage grand piano and wanted it a lighter more natural color with different finish than my parents had on their piano. The finish was uneven (splotchy) and then said I should have paid more for what we agreed to and wanted to charge me more to make it right. Yes, I price shopped, and while they were less expensive, in the end, it's the quality of work you have to live with, especially with a piano that every one will see and ask you able. I am constantly embarrassed by the way it looks. When I save up more money (it cost $4000!!!) I have it refinished to it is more presentable. On the technical side, I had this piano fixed for my wife who plays the piano. Unfortunately she could enjoy it afterwards, because the keys stuck began to stick within weeks (in the dead of winter no less), and could not be played. They promised me a piano stool and they reneged on that offer too. To be sure, I called and e-mailed to get the piano fixed and they never called back over a 4 month period. I had to take them to court (and that cost me money). I would never use them again.
