This was a small job but required them to make three visits to patch the hole and then apply and sand the various coats of sheetrock compound. In addition to being very prompt, they called to let me know they were on their way from a previous job. The work was very well done and easily covered when the repaired area was painted.

This is a class act company. They were professional and friendly while doing an amazing job. They paid particular attention to avoiding dust while sanding. I highly recommend!

Greg did a great job! It took him 3 short visits to complete the job. He was easy to work with and he is affordable. We got another quote for the same job and Greg's price you cannot beat. I would recommend using him again and my parents are planning on using him too at their house.

They came at 8am, I explained what needed to be done (living room) one wall painted a different color the other walls and celling painted another color -- (bedroom) completely painted.  The owner told me since there were two guys that's an equivalent of 8 hours work, so they will be working from 8 to noon.  I said that's not right, but I paid for the service and needed to have it done by this week.  I was told if they work beyond noon that's an extra $50 per hour.  The owner said he will call back at noon to see how the job was going then left.  I noticed one of the guys left to get plastic to cover the furniture the other guy worked to fill nail holes, which wasn't many.  It took sometime for the other guy to come back.  When he did arrive they both started to work on one room, my understanding they were going to work on separate rooms to done by noon.  I called the owner at 11:34am to find out if the workers are going to leave, but no answer, I called again at 11:37am and left a voice message to call me.  The owner called me back at 11:38am told me one of the guys ran into a problem with the caulking in my celling, it has to be done over, so they were to patch it then come next Saturday, instead of waiting for it to dry and that one of the rooms was done and they are finishing the other room.  I was confused by that, because I just had a contractor that tested the spot that had the caulking to paint, but I had the wrong paint and he only had that day to do the paint job, so I know there wasn't an issue with the caulking.  I noticed the workers had not left at noon, so I asked them if they were suppose to be leaving because of the caulking and coming back next Saturday.  One of the workers said it will be fine.  I called and left voice message asking owner to call me back.  Owner called me back, I said I thought the workers were leaving and coming back next Saturday and that one room was completed, he said No they should be done soon and finish the job.  Well, issue with the job: I found you have to be specific with what you want painted, when you say you want to have your entire room painted you have to TELL them the walls, celling and baseboards.  My baseboards were not painted and I was upset with that.  The owner said I had to tell him that and it would cost more to paint the baseboards, because it will take longer.  I told him I didn't agree with that.  Paint was left on my floor, my glass table and the owner had to spend about two hours trying to reconnect my VCR and game system, because they unplugged it and didn't plug it back in.  The owner and myself had to Google on how to reconnect the game system.  The workers left my window open in my bedroom, something black was poured down my toilet, I'm afraid that it might cause an issue with my drainage.  There was paint on my mirror in the living room.  The celling wasn't painted correctly, that the owner said he will send a worker back next Saturday to repaint the celling.  Then as one of the worker was about to move my lamp back into the living room the base of the lamp completely cracked and broke apart.  He had NO problem lifting the lamp before, if there was a problem it would have fallen apart when he first moved it.  Now, I can no longer use the lamp!  I told him the lamp has a tilt to it, but the base was not broken.  I was afraid to say something, since I was there by myself, so I decided to call Angie's List to complain/dispute my issue.  I want my $225 refunded, because it was not 8 hours of work and because the other issues I had.  I want to say the workers were nice and the paint job was decent.  This job was not worth $425!  And now, I have to find someone to paint my baseboards.

I cannot praise Dormar highly enough.  Everything looks great.  They were here when they said they would be and they remained late when they needed to.  They had a perfect "can-do" attitude.  When others told us things like "We don't do that.  We do drywall.  You will need a carpenter for that."  Dormar's attitude was "Of course we do that.  You need to do that to get the job done."  They are also well connected in the fix-it community, so, if they don't do something themselves, they know someone who does it.

Greg and Phil were did a professional job and cleaned up after themselves. They were thorough in covering everything with drop cloths and they were easy to communicate with. They discussed any issues with me and provided good solutions. I hired them again 6 weeks later to repair some drywall and paint the kitchen and family room. I would not hesitate to call them again or to recommend them to friends.

They were very professional and worked hard to complete the job in my time frame. Would use them again if I had the need.

We had a roof leak that damaged drywall on the walls and ceiling of our kitchen and the ceiling of our family room. Greg was very responsive when I called for an estimate. He carefully looked at the work that needed to be done, gave me an overview of what he'd need to do, and gave a reasonable estimate. Greg and Phil arrived when they said they would and were on time every day. They were quiet, polite, and cleaned up every evening. They also offered suggestions and asked for our input to make sure we were happy with the finished work. Their work looks great, they used quality materials and we are very pleased with they way everything turned out.

Dormar provide excellent, quality and on-time service.  They repaired holes from pictures, walled over old landline wall phone box in the kitchen and sanded walls before painting.  Where necessary, surfaces were taped and covered.  All in all they did a great job and we would highly recommend them,

They did a wonderful job and their price was great.  We had the work done when we were on vacation and gave them our keys.   We came home to a beautifully painted house with no mess at all.   They used professional quality paint.  All walls are totally smooth.  Replaced trim which really made a difference.  Couldn't be happier!!!
