I have been using Colton for over 25 years.  I have found them to be honest and dependable.  I trust that they will not try to sell me something if I don't need it.  Their advise has always been conservative and accurate.  With that, I have had them maintain my furnace, air and humidifier on a regular basis and have never had a problem.

We had Colton install a Mitsubishi Heat Pump for our attic renovation in the Spring and were so impressed with his excellent service and professional manner that we called him again when our old furnace died.  A service technician was sent out the same day to look at our furnace and confirmed that the blower motor was dead.  It was also noted that the heat exchanger had failed (exhaust air could mingle with the house's air supply); a major safety issue.  We were scheduled to go on vacation the following week and Dave worked with us to quickly locate a replacement at a reasonable cost.  The old furnace was removed and the new  one installed on schedule and before our vacation.  The work area was left cleaner than when the work was started and all work completed in a professional manner.  We would definitely recommend Dave and his employees to friends and would not hesitate to call him in the future.

Mr. Colton and his son were very thorough. Each day, they explained to us what they were doing. At the end of each day,
everything was always cleaned up. They were very professional and very quiet. We would definitely recommend this company. They would also notify us, when they had to leave, so that we would know.

As usual, we were in an emergency situation with water pouring out the bottom of our gas-fired hot water heater. Because the tank was constantly draining, both burners were on high. While the water pressure in the upstairs shower was low, the temperature was near scalding. We called Dave around 9AM and discovered he and his son were both at a trade workshop for the day, but the office manager paged them and they promised to come out as soon as the workshop ended. They arrived at about 5PM and had a new hot water tank installed by about 7. No fuss, no muss - just great service.
We've used Dave for many years, mostly for furnace repairs. He is honest, fair, reliable and professional. We love Colton!

We love this guy. We chose this company because we have been told that they were good. They're phenomenal. I honestly trust them a great deal. You can also call them and he will get back to you whenever he's back at the end of the day. He'll call me at 9:00 to answer a question that I had. He's very responsive. They're a father and son company and whenever you need them, they're out there. We used them over in Aurora, too. Even though you live a little out of their range of service, they're still willing to keep that loyalty because you are important to them. The nice thing is that they'll tell you if they need to do something. I actually called them up for a problem we were having with our air conditioner that I thought was electrical and he just told me that I'm gonna waste my money on spending for someone to come out for a problem that can't be fixed. He kinda talked me through why and it was nice to get an honest answer.

Colton Heating and Cooling came and looked at my unit which was about 15 years old . It has needed refrigerant over the past few years. This time he said I would need a new unit. He made several suggestions and gave what I felt was good and sound advice. The pricing was in line with what I found doing research prior to buying the unit. While I was hesitant to make the investment at this time I am very pleased with the results. The work area was cleaned up and the old unit and coils hauled away. It has a good guarantee and I should not have any trouble for a number of years, or at least until I need a new furnace. I have used Colton Heating and Cooling because I trust them, they don't oversell and he is responsive in an emergency.

The job went well. They were prompt. They installed out units, so they know them well. They can now print a receipt which makes the service records digital end easier to read. Their costs have stayed stable over the 20 some years we have used them for our furnace and air conditioner.

They gave great recommendations regarding the maintenance of the system.

Colton is a small company, but they do a good job. The pricing is fair, and they stand behind their work. Occasionally they have been late, but they usually call to let you know that they are on their way. We will continue to use them in the future.
