"Thank you, [Member Name Removed], it was great working with you!"
"In my 19 plus years of painting in this area, I have never received a complaint like this. She is not the only one filled with rage! 90% of my customers trust me & my crew implicitly; giving me the garage door codes, keys, etc. so we can work while they are at work or even on vacation! The other 10% are at home, (as Ms. [Member Name Removed] always is) to let us in (and presumably monitor our whereabouts and workmanship). There have not been any claims of theft other than hers. 11/18: Ms. [Member Name Removed] stated that she had last seen the jewelry approx.. 6 weeks prior to us being there. During that six weeks, she & her husband took a trip to Italy. She stated that she had left the jewelry at home. When we began her project, I showed my assistant the scope of the work to be done, with her bedroom to receive paint work on the trim only and a full paint job in the guest rms. We began in a guest rm as they needed the most work. While preparing a guest rm., we moved furniture into the middle of the rm and my assistant found a watch on the floor. He promptly showed it to Ms. [Member Name Removed] and handed it to her. We were almost finished with the 2nd guest rm when she confronted me about the missing jewelry. I told her that I had never seen the jewelry and certainly didn't take it. She then accused my assistant. (The same assistant who gave her the watch he found in the guest rm.) The Elmhurst police contacted me and my assistant and we both gave the same account of the incident. We both offered to take lie detector tests. We left the project without doing any of the work in her bedroom (the trim). 8/17: Regarding her claim of the $100.00 missing from her wallet. The Elmhurst Police contacted me to tell me of the missing money. I told them that I knew nothing about it, but to show good faith, I sent her a check for the $100.00. 11/15: I only learned of the missing cash after many months. Yes, we were painting a door in the back hall and the other 2 workers were in the bathroom nearby, but the drawer she says was broken into was located in the adjacent family room. When Ms. [Member Name Removed] told me about the incident, she said that she had left the back door unlocked (for how long, I don't know). I never received a call from the Police regarding this. As a point of information, Ms. [Member Name Removed] lives on a very busy street near the train station with many pedestrians going by every day."
"Thank you for your review! We look forward to working with you again."
