DAHLENBURG CONSTRUCTION

The work started later than originally promised, but the weather was horrible for a long period of time, so that was understandable. In the middle of the job, work stopped altogether for a week. Apparently he had another job in progress and was splitting time between the two jobs. When work resumed, it was done in a hurry, but the quality suffered for the speed. I have already had to replace/redo grout and caulking in the bathrooms, and the kitchen backsplash grout is crumbling in spots and will need to be touched up and sealed as well since it apparently was not sealed after it was installed. We have since had other work done to the house, but we had the work done by other providers. This review was amended 11/16/2014. The seat in the shower system Dahlenburg originally installed separated from the shower walls. The seat was dangerously unstable, and my husband depends on it because he has physical limitations. I emailed Dahlenburg twice to ask that he come and inspect the failed work. He did not respond. I downloaded new installation instructions and removed the seat to find that the shower manufacturer's instructions had not been followed at all. Essentially, I paid the man for what was presented as a professional installation, got an inferior one instead, and ended up with a DYI project because I had to reinstall the shower seat myself. Obviously, I am now questioning the integrity of the other work he performed.
