He keeps my teeth in pretty good condition. I love the fact that his establishment is very clean. The staff is professional. They are on top on things in terms of payment and having care credit. If you can’t pay your bill upfront, he offers a payment plan so you can get your service done. He is very cutting edge and he keeps you informed.

I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Schefdore's office. Right from the beginning I was welcomed with open arms. It seemed more like a home than a dental office. I was the only patient in the office and the doctor explained that is how he schedules his patients so he is focused just on me. I was given multiple options and explained treatments. Doctor showed me everything he was looking at on the tv so I could understand. I had a cleaning and an extraction. I have had extractions before and this by far was my best experience. Very gentle. He even gave me a blanket to tuck me in during the procedure. I would definitely recommend this dental office to anyone.

I don't really have any dos or don's to offer.  I  do try to be on time though and I have to self-medicate before I have dental work

done so I make sure that I do take care of that before I see the doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ron Schefdore for over 10 years now, and I am completely satisfied with his work and his integrity.  When you meet the doctor and his staff they are always friendly and helpful.  Dr. Schefdore  will give you his full attention and time to answer any questions you might have or concerns.  He is very knowledge and keeps up with modern  dentistry and technology.  He also has a nutritional program that will keep your teeth healthy for years to come which you can choose to take advantage of if you wish.  I myself am on the program and I really do think that the supplements do make a difference not only in a healthy mouth but a healthy body.  I would recommend this doctor if you are in need of a new dentist or just want a second opinion.

Great!  Dr. Schefdore's office is a pleasure to visit.  He uses the most up-to-date methods and equipment.  The doctor and all of his staff are caring and thorough...concerned with not only the patient's dental health but overall health as well.

I fell asleep in the chair when he grinding down these forefront teeth. Its beautiful how you schedule an appointment. They send you little text messages to remind you and its great and if you miss an appointment its no big deal unless its a long appointment. If it is just a regular appointment no problem they are just very nice operation. He limits his practice to a select amount of patients. He can sit with you for a while. He does not rush you. Beautiful office, nice equipment, nice chairs. I had a TV, flat screen TV in every room.

TERRIBLE!!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! I am from Texas so I used a locator to find the nearest dentist office that accepts my insurance. I walked into their office and scheduled my appointment personally. I was not sure if I was in the right office because their big sign just read "dentist", so I asked if they accepted my insurance. They said they did and set up an appointment for 7/15/2014. On the day of my appointment, as I was nearing their office, I noticed a sign that read "Downers Dental". This was the dentist office that I thought I was going to from my PPO list. Realizing that I made a mistake (the 2 offices are practically in the same parking lot), I walked back into their office to cancel my appointment and let them know that I had made a mistake, and their office was not the office listed by my PPO. The office staff was very friendly and insisted that they did accept it. They even said they would call to confirm my benefits. A few moments later the office assistant came back in to let me know my insurance did cover my work. I was hesitant and asked again, "so I won't need to pay any money out of pocket, correct?" I didn't have money to spend on dental work, thus having made the appointment through my insurance - or so I thought. She stated that it would be EXACTLY the same. They were very nice and I trusted them. The dentist's office was empty so they took my son to a separate section out of my view and started cleaning his teeth I guess. He's only 4 so it made me very uncomfortable not being able to see him - but again they seemed very nice. The dentist spoke to me about all the other dentist's "cut rate" work and how he is the best. Then - to my shock - he told me my teeth were so bad he couldn't clean them. And he didn't. So as me and my son were getting ready to leave, they asked me to pay the entire bill up front. I nearly freaked out! I told them that I wouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket with the dentist across the parking lot and they told me it would be exactly the same, and that I had told them I didn't have any money to spend. After haggling with them for a short while, we negotiated that I would pay Gavin's entire amount upfront ($164) and they would file the insurance claim for me. The told me that the insurance check would come to me. Once I received the check, subtract the $164 and send them a check for the remainder. I was upset that I had to pay money out of pocket after repeatedly telling them I did not want to spend any money out of pocket. A few weeks later the started sending me "statements of delinquency" and making harassing phone calls. When I called them back, I told them that I hadn't received the check from the insurance only to have them tell me that they messed up with filing the paperwork. Once I finally received the insurance check, I did exactly what they had instructed me to do. I kept the $164 and sent them a check for the rest ($151). Since I no longer trusted the smooth talking dentist I included a memo on the check stating "PAID IN FULL WHEN CASHED".  They cashed the check. Since cashing the check, the dentist himself had called me at work, rudely harassing me. On one occasion I confronted him stating that this was not what we had agreed on and he knew that I would not have stayed at his office if I knew I'd have to pay out of pocket - especially spending $275 and not getting my teeth cleaned AND my son getting his all his work done by the dental hygienist! He said that I knew his equipment was expensive and he was not a "cut rate" dentist like the one on my insurance plan and that I knew I would have to pay. I was so enraged at the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide that I just hung up on him. Now this dentist is suing me!!!!

The appointment went well.  Dr.Schefdore explained the 2 step process, of which he would need to refer me to a periodontist to complete.  He gave me the name of two periodontists.
Dr. Schefdore deeply discounts the  initial exam price($10) for first time patients.
He appeared very exprienced in his field, and very confident.
Dr. Schefdore does not take most(or any) insurance plans.

Well, I went to Dr. Schefdore because my teeth were shifting and I wanted braces but I didn't want the traditional ones, So my doctor suggested Clear Correct which was great because I could take them off while eating and they were invisible. Dr Schefdore and staff was very imformative every step of the way and he listened to every concern that I had about my teeth. I had one tooth that was very stubborn and  I was very concerned that it was not going to shift correctly. I expressed my concerns and he went of his way to make sure that tooth conform to my expectations.

I had gone to a couple of dentists and they were always to
busy or said they would have to redo all of my partials. Dr. Schefdore is
always able to help me out in a short period of time. I recently had an issue
and Dr. Schefdore solved my problem in a half an hour.

Dr. Schefdore instills confidence.  I have had some bad experiences before and was apprehensive to have 5 fillings replaced at one time.  He was excellent with pain management as well as with replacing the fillings.  He also took the time to educate me on the procedure, which I really appreciated.

He didn't match the color with my teeth.  My wife even said they were a lot lighter than my other teeth.  They’re not all straight.  The third one on the end is sticking up way way high than the others and chipping two or three teeth on the top.  I went in and told him about this and he said he made it higher because I had those chips and I disagreed.  He said my gums may have shrunk.  He just brushed me off and charged me $5,000.  Like he said we don’t agree so goodbye.  He did a really really lousy job.  He always brags about how he is better than everyone else and I just want to let people know he is far, far from being better than anyone else.

My appointment went very well. I was seated immediately and did not have to wait. Dr. Schefdore and his staff were very friendly - I am always greeted with smiles. We talked about what had happened with my veneer and also chatted about family, what's been going on in our lives, just catching up. He explained in detail how he was going to repair and replace the veneer, and made sure that I was comfortable. After re-cementing the veneer, he thoroughly cleaned the area and made sure the fit was perfect. He did the procedure gently and patiently. We parted with smiles and a friendly handshake. I have been a patient for 10 years and this was what I would call a typical visit - pleasant and comfortable.

The office and staff is very nice, clean and friendly.   I didn't use hime because I found it hard to believe that I needed over $10,000.00 in dental work done.  I have gone to the dentist every 6 months for as long as I can remember.   I moved on and had exams from 2 other dentist.

Overall the dentist is very thorough and very personable. He is very efficient and prompt in services. The office is very accessible and a great office atmosphere. The staff is very professional.

I have gone to Dr. Schefdore for the last 6 years!  It could not have gone better!  Before I met Dr. Schefdore I had one bad experience after another with dentistry.  I was terrified of dental appointments!  Since he has worked on me, everything has changed for the better.

My teeth and gums look and feel better than they have in 10+ years.  I'm confident that I've put my "bad teeth" behind me.  Kudos to Dr Schefdore.

He sent me to the specialists first.  At the next appointment Dr Shefdore prepared two teeth for crowns.  At the next visit he did the 2nd root canal and prepared that tooth for the crown as well.
