Hinz Construction is, hands down, one of the most reliable and dependable vendor we've used. The windows in our new home were in rough shape and needed to be replaced, so we called Dan Hinz to schedule an appointment for an estimate and some advice about the kinds of windows that we should purchase for our home. The estimate that he initially quoted us was around $8000, and he was fairly certain that the job would take 2 or 3 days given the size of our place. He worked with us and the window company to choose quality glass and designs for our home, and he double-checked every detail with us so that we knew what to expect from him and the window vendor in the installation process.
Hinz started the work on our home less than 48 hours after the windows were delivered [and I suspect that he and his crew would've started earlier if not for the rain that set in early in the week]. The crew set up at 7:30am and worked all day; indeed, they wound up finishing the installation that SAME day, which saved my husband and I a lot of time, money, energy, and frustration. And what's better, they didn't have to pull the trim off of our home when they installed the windows, so we didn't have to hire a painter to come and clean up the trim after the job was finished. Because of the professionalism and hard work of Hinz and his crew, we saved $800 off of the initial estimate AND the cost of a painting crew.
In sum, we can't say enough good things about Dan Hinz Construction. The company is professional, courteous, and extremely skilled at what it does. I would recommend the business to others, and we will definitely use them again when the time comes for us to remodel our kitchen.
