At Crowbar Construction and Home Services, we pride ourselves in pleasing the customer. You can expect great service at a reasonable rate. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 630-745-1781 Our company is "Lead Safe Certified" and we carry a current EPA Certificate. Our COVID-19 response: We are dedicated to keep our customers and employees safe. We carry protective masks, antibacterial hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray and gloves. Welding was done on site... and in a timely and professional manner. My railings look brand new, and he installed new railings and gate for my neighbor. We both appreciated his attention to detail. I would recommend him for any construction job. I am presently using Crowbar for a new paver patio. Scott wonà  à  à  à ¢à  à  à  à  à  à  à  à  t disappoint !! He is very busy. Concrete Patios, Walks & Steps- Install

I hired Crowbar Construction to replace a large concrete staircase that was falling apart. This was not a small job, and access to heavy equipment was limited. But, Scott figured out the best solution with little to no damage to the grass. He was hands on with the entire process; form the initial estimate, providing a detailed diagram of the new stairs to me and the village, and obtaining all permits. He answered all my questions and concerns with lots of patients ( I had many questions). When it was time to pour the new stairs, Scott and his crew worked quickly, efficiently, were very detail oriented. I deal with many contractors, Scott was one of the nicest, respectful, and helpful contractors that I ve ever used. He and his crew went above and beyond the job. The stairs came out fabulous. I think a tornado could come through, and they still would be standing. I would recommend Crowbar Construction to anyone that needs concrete work done at a great price. I needed a curb cut on my driveway Scott came out to look at the job and took pictures he gave me a price and we decided to do the job He came out a second time to check it out again within a week of our initial talk the job was done He squeezed me in his busy schedule because he knew I wanted it done asapThey came, did the job and cleaned the driveway and the street of all of the concrete dust the saw created He was very courteous and easy to talk to I would recommend them to anyone

I had to install an emergency egress window in my basement as part of a remodel project. This required excavation, demoing the finished basement interior to expose the concrete foundation, cutting an opening in the concrete, and installing the new window. Scott is very professional, honest, and very communicative. I knew exactly what was going to happen and what to expect. There were no surprises. I would highly recommend Crowbar for any home project falling within their area of expertise.

Once I requested information online, Scott called within the hour, then stopped by to see what I needed to be hauled away the same morning. He confirmed the price and had Omar and his crew stop by the same afternoon despite it being so cold. Friendly, respectful, courteous and professional. Would definitely use them again and will pass their cards to other neighbors. Was surprised to see from their card a number of other projects besides hauling that we might consider in the future. Great decision.
