"A call did come in on Saturday 8/23 after the heavy flooding in our area. The call was received by our on-call tech since our store was closed. Our technician was correct in explaining that on a water heater - there is a one year labor warranty and 6 years on parts/labor. An labor fee would have been incurred if a heater was 1 year and 7 months old and the part that was needed or defective would be subject to the manufacturers limited warranty policy. However, I am researching this customers name and address and I DO NOT see any records of a heater being installed by our company. The last thing at that address on our record was from 1992 and it was a different owner name. I left a message for the customer to follow up further to inquire if there in fact was a heater installed and billed to a different address or to obtain any further information. I have not yet received a return call. We work hard to keep up a good reputation for over 60 years, and I would love the opportunity to resolve this complaint and truely determine if we were the installing contractor. I do not feel an F rating is justified at this time for any reason."
He was late due to the service call before mine being a problem, but I was kept in the loop at all times. They offered to reschedule if I needed to be elsewhere. I waited, no problem and he showed up within two hours of the scheduled time.
We were happy with the time that the owner took to explain in detail what was going to take place. He spent a couple of hours with us on two occasions and then came back a third time to fine tune it.
The workmen did their jobs in a professional manner and cleaned up after the job was done to our satisfaction.
I appreciated that those doing the job did not bring along their rap or rock music.
