 + -1 moreMy home is an older one. Therefore, it is quite difficult to find a store which offers the original replacement pieces. I have been so thrilled with this store as they offer just what I need. In the past, they have cut small pieces of hardwood and pipes to accommodate my home's needs. The employees provide a pleasant atmosphere in a helping way. They offer tidbits of advice on how to properly fix an issue. They are truly A+ all the way.
Description of Work: I purchased a cover for my stove pipe opening.

 + -1 moreTHIS IS ONE OF THOSE OLD-TIME HARDWARE STORES WHERE YOU CAN TAKE YOUR BROKEN PART, DROP IT IN AN EMPLOYEES HAND, AND HE/SHE WILL: 1. KNOW WHAT PART IS, AND 2. LEAD YOU TO THE REPLACEMENT PART IN THE STORE. SCREWS AND NUTS ARE SOLD INDIVIDUALLY, INSTEAD OF IN PACKAGES OF 100, AND THEY'LL ACTUALLY ASK YOU IF YOU NEED HELP, OR JUST NEED DIRECTIONS TO SOME DEPARTMENT. VERY HELPFUL WITHOUT BEING CONDESCENDING. EMPLOYEES KNOW THE WHOLE STORE, AS OPPOSED TO THE BIG BOX STORES WHERE THEY ONLY KNOW THEIR DEPARTMENT (MAYBE). THEY OFFER TRUE VALUE ADVERTISED SPECIALS, SO THE PRICES ARE REASONABLE.
Description of Work: I PURCHASED BRACKETS AND SCREWS FOR A WALL-HUNG SHELF, BUT I'VE PURCHASED MANY, MANY THINGS HERE THROUGH THE YEARS.
