CD Strong Construction

We hired Richie Mueller from CDStrong. The project was met with a lot of frustration (delays, thinking deliveries were made, but weren't), but the worst part was he ordered the wrong color siding!! They are now refusing to replace the siding and offered me a 7% credit off the bill. The blue is a different shade and not at all what is on our contract. Disgusting!!! Buyer beware!

They did an excellent job, started at 7 in the morning, and were done at 2 in the afternoon. There were two crews and they were very efficient. Everyone says my roof looks amazing. They even came back the next day and put flashing around my two fireplaces. He re-roofed my shed as well. Highly professional company and I would highly recommend them.

Richie Mueller was the manager in charge of our account. From the initial consult to the final paperwork to the insurance company, he was professional, very responsive - answering calls after hours and on the weekend, and explained clearly and accurately the entire process. He was true to his word. The crew arrived early, did an excellent job and finished the work in less than 7 hours. The process was friendly, honest and exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend CD Strong Construction, Richie and his crew to anyone needing a new roof.

I thought it was okay, the roof looked okay to me, although I had problems with communication and getting things done. I've already reviewed this company once and gave them a fairly good review, but I'm changing my review now. A year later I'm getting ready to put my house on the market and my closet started leaking very badly. Upon inspection, another roofing company said that not only had they not replaced the old flashing, they didn't even nail it down! It's caused a lot of damage in my roof and my master bedroom closet, and it's going to put off getting my house on the market, which is already much later than I thought it would be. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!

They came a day early to install the roof, which was fine, but it would have been nice if they had let me know so I could have warned them about a few plants they trampled. It took awhile for them to get around to the window wraps and corners, and especially the covers on the window wells. This would have been okay, too, if there had been more communication. Once the roof was installed, it was very difficult to get information as to when the work would be completed . Mark, who is apparently the project manager, is nice enough and knew all about getting me the right roof, but doesn't seem to know a lot about the company or how to keep communications open. I finally called the owner of the company, who apparently is located in another state, and he got things rolling. Jeff and Jason did an excellent job on the window wraps, corners and window well covers, though it took awhile to get it done, and the roof appears to be good, though I haven't gotten up there and looked at it. Overall, they did a good job, I was just disappointed with the lack of communication and coordination. A few plants were trampled and a small lawn ornament, no big deal, since they were inexpensive. The guys doing the work on the roof seemed friendly and polite. They cleaned up everything and did the job in about a day and a half. The only reason I said that I wouldn't hire this company again is the communication problem. They do good work, they just need a little bit more professionalism. I'm giving them an A rating for the quality of the work done.

Once the contract as signed, the person we were dealing with disappeared (after making numerous promises).  The work took months to get completed.  There were foreign nationals who performed the roofing job.  Another crew who can in and performed gutter repair and yet throughout this process there was never a person from the company who came to check on the work or explain the schedule delays.
When the roofing folks were at my house they damaged by satellite dish and I had to pay to have it repaired and realigned. 
To make matters worse, within a year shingles were coming off and now I have water damage in my garage where they did not get the flashing secured against the house and did not seal it.  You can actually see daylight!!!!  Needless to say, I am getting water in the garage now and have find a repair soon before the Spring season is upon us.

We were concerned at first because the people with whom we originally dealt were pulled from the job right after we signed the contract, and there were some delays in the work.  However, they did a great job with the roof, and we didn't encounter any problems.
