Some-Or-All Painting

Mike, George, and Fernando were awesome to work with. They pay meticulous attention to detail. We've had them work on several projects for us before and we've been delighted every time. With this particular project, we had many scope changes and Mike and his team were able to accomodate us promptly and professionally. There were originally hired just to paint, but they were able to install drapery hardware and shelving for us, which made our project much simpler. I highly recommend Some-or-All. You can't go wrong with them!

Mike is the best. Prompt, professional, friendly. He quickly came out to provide a quote and scheduled/completed work within a week. He arrived on time and completed the work quickly and professionally. Truly, you can't hire a better painter in Oak Park. We've used him several times for painting our condo and we've been delighted every time with the quality of the work.

The ceiling was expertly touched up and the walls were repainted. Mike was responsive, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended.

Mike and his team did an excellent job from start to finish.  Mike was very responsive to my request for a bid.  He took the time to walk through the condo and made extensive notes about the work to be performed.  I was impressed by his attention to detail and by the questions he asked.  He really demonstrated his knowledge and his desire to get the job done right.  Very shortly after he visited, I received a very professionally-written eBid, which I really appreciated.  The specifications of the job were clearly described in the contract and Mike and I had a little back-and-forth as we refined the specifications.
Mike was able to schedule the job within days of the contract being signed.  On the morning of the job, he showed up early with his crew and prepped the condo for the job to be done.  I was impressed by how all the furniture and floors were carefully protected.  Not a single drop of paint was spilled during the entire two days there were working in the condo.  The crew was professional, courteous, and pleasant to work with.  I work out of my home and was here the entire time they worked and you would have never known there was a crew working here because they were so quiet and fast!
At the conclusion of the first day of work, Mike and his team returned our condo back to "livable" conditions so that we could carry on our lives as if we weren't in the middle of a painting project.  The next morning, he returned and did the prep work all over again, which was much appreciated.  
The work was finished several hours ahead of schedule and I could not be happier with the result.  My only "caveat" is that Mike's bid was a bit higher than some of the other contractors, but I would argue that you get what you pay for.  In this case, I think it was well worth the extra cost.  I will most certainly be hiring Mike for future paint jobs and would highly recommend him and his crew to friends and family.

I had a really good experience with him. I’ve used him before as well and he’s been very good. He is a very good painter and he is really reliable. He does high quality work and I would give him high marks. He shows up on time and his price is reasonable.

We called last minute to have Mike and his crew paint 4 bedrooms, then strip wallpaper from a dining room and paint that. Each room was carefully prepped, spackled etc. then given two complete coats of paint. Mike was a great help in choosing colors, told us how much paint to buy (we bought some of the paint, he bought some).
We are planning to do a lot more interior work this summer and will be using him again for a few paint and wallpaper projects. I thought he was a tad expensive but was happy with his work, professionalism and hitting the promised timeline.

We love working with this company. They do great work. They show up on time and clean up well. They take the time to do the job right: spending as much time as needed to repair the walls to make them ready for painting. We definitely recommend this company. I didn't include the amount we paid because we have had them several times for different jobs. They are not the cheapest, but they are the best!
