Absolutely great service from Nelson Garage Doors. Paul was professional and thorough in explaining what needed to be done and was very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone looking for custom service!

Door looks great BUT am very disappointed that the party that he used to install the door left the old wood door for me to dispose of! Just cut it up and stacked by back door, I thought that they would take it away as they took all the metal.  
Did a nice job and door looks great, service was very punctual and Paul was able to accomodiate my time frame and wanted to use someone in the neighborhood, but the leaving of the old door was disappointing.

Paul was great.  He came when he said he would.  He found and fixed the problem.  He talked with me about what created my problem and what I could do to avoid any problems in the future.  I would absolutely recommend him and his company in the future.

Nelson Doors fixed my broken garage door opener, for the agreed price,
the same day that I called.  AND they threw in some very appreciated
extra work too.  My garage door goes up and down so quietly now, that
it's almost spooky.  I'm pretty sure that it's also faster too.  BIG A+
for Nelson!

Very well. Provider came late at evening so that I could get car out the next day for work. Worked quickly and was personable/friendly. No issues.

It went very well. Paul was here promptly due to the emergency of the situation. He quickly replaced our cable and balanced the door so I could get out of the garage! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Dan answered my email within minutes of me sending and it was in the evening during the final Stanley Cup Hawks game. There was a little confusion with the time we set up, but as soon as I called he was here within 10 minutes.  He inspected the unit and determined it needed new springs, the unit is 8 years old.  He installed the springs very quickly and was on his way. He was here a total of 30 minutes max.  I would definitely use him again and would recommend him.

My service from Nelson Garage Doors was perfect.  I called in the morning and was promised service that afternoon.  The Servicemen were on time and asked me where I wanted everything - keypad, buttons, etc...  They completed the work in about 2 hours and greased all of the hinges and springs on my existing garage doors as well.  They took time to show me how everything works and made sure I was satisfied.  Then the Owner, Paul Macbeth, came by to make sure I was satisfied before he collected my check.  He checked the installers' work and explained the required maintenance to me.  I would definitely recommend this company.  They were extremely professional and knowledgeable as well as prompt.  They obviously care about their customers and did everything possible to make sure I was satisfied.  If I ever need garage door or opener work, I will certainly call them.

We appreciated the same day response and the door has never performed better.

I had a $20 discount through Angie's List. They were able to fix the garage door within a few minutes. They didn't try to sell me a new garage door opener, which I appreciated. They were able to just lubricate the rollers and get everything working. They definitely earned their A grade with Angie's List. Paul was very efficient and cooperative. Their price was the most reasonable since I was able to get the discount, and they were able to fix it at just the price of the service call. I really liked that when I called I was able to speak with the technician directly instead of an answering service. Some of the other places I called also were not willing to apply the credit of the service call towards any future services, since I wasn't sure if I would need a new garage door or not. They came to my home within 24 hours of my initial call.

The response time was super.  I sent an email through Angies List at night and Paul responded by the next morning.  He was here by the afternoon to make the repairs.  He explained to me what had to be replaced, why, and what it would cost upfront.  There were no add-ons.  He completed the repairs quickly.  Before he left he showed me the parts that were replaced, and operated the newly repaired door.  It has never worked so well.  He also instructed me on routine maintenance of the system to promote a longer life.  A spring had broken on the opening system, and I had never needed this kind of repair before.  Paul was very helpful and professional throughout the whole process.

I called on Monday evening, after I had broken the garage door opener. Paul called me back first thing on Tuesday morning, said he would be here either this afternoon or Wednesday. (I had told him it wasn't an emergency, since I could manually control the door). So, he came by Tuesday afternoon fixed the problem and noticed a couple of other things. No pushy sales pitch. Very nice family man. Yes, I recommend this company. Great service at a good price.
