Tankless Technology

Tankless Tech installed the tankless unit in the house we purchased. When we moved in we noticed the hot water wasn't working properly so we called them. After two months of having to chase them down for unresolved issues and parts they claim they ordered, we are still here with a broken unit. Their answer to our hot water problems was "it's a plumbing issue and we don't do plumbing" and a user issue, "download the manual and read it". We finally gave up on them and called another company. Our new plumbing company has been working directly with the manufacturer on our tankless unit and complex hot water issues. The manufacturer was shocked at the usage of the unit, from the previous owners, and both parties agree the unit is malfunctioning. They are now working together to solve our complex hot water issues. We have received more parts and problem solving solutions for our Rennai unit, including a crash course in tankless technology in two weeks, than we received from Tankless Tech in two months. My husband and I want to warn others out there, to save them the horrendous experience of dealing with these people, who claim to be experts of tankless systems. They are clearly not experts in this field, and for us were incompetent in problem solving our broken Rennai unit and hot water issues. UPDATE: Within two and a half weeks, our other plumbing company (Mendel plumbing) was able to troubleshoot our issues with Rinnai, and fully resolve our hot water issues. We finally have consistent hot water throughout the entire house and our unit is working properly. DO NOT call Tankless Tech for your tankless hot water issues.

This company promised to show up on Tuesday and apologized for not being here. Rescheduled for Thursday and again did not show. When I called an hour and a half after my scheduled time, I got voicemail.
