I was very disappointed with him. The workmanship was average. However, he made the risers shorter than the treads. When I questioned him about why the risers were not the correct length, he became very aggressive and rude; he said, "Oh, you're THAT kind of customer." I am a widow, and I feel like he spoke to me differently because he knew I did not have a man in the house. I also feel like he took advantage because he checked in after the first three stairs (which were fine) and then he completed the remaining stairs with the poor workmanship. He was so rude and combative with me, I was even shaking when I told him to leave. He told me that he would complete the work to my liking, but made sure I knew that I would be killing trees and that he would be charging me for the additional work even though it was his mistake in the first place. I declined that offer. When I went outside I noticed he didn't even take all of the scrap wood with him, so now I have to clean up after him.
Description of Work: I had my deck repaired and he put risers (backs) on the stairs.
