I had purchased a new water softener online and was looking for a firm to remove the failed softener and hook up the new one. I contacted several Angie's List companies that indicated they offered this service. Most replied they only installed water softeners they sold - the whole package or nothing. One firm actually came out to the house and gave me an estimate that was so ridiculously high - equivalent to the cost of the softener itself - that I could only laugh. Only DuPage gave a reasonable response saying they were familiar with the softener to be installed and they would charge by the hour. The installation specialist, Rich, arrived when he said he would, inspected the old and new softeners and went to work. Within 1.5 hours he had the job completed and the new softener checked out, programmed and running. Rich is a very competent and pleasant professional and DuPage Water is a firm that earns respect.

Came to the house for the repair, gave a three hour window of arrival and arrived when promised.  Professional, friendly employee made the repair and the system started working.  About a week later we noticed it wasn't working properly again so we called back.  They sent the same repairman out the next day again with a three hour window and he arrived at the time promised.  This time he replaced the part and the system is working again.  This is an older system which has been discontinued but he was able to get the part we needed.  The repairman (Rich) is always professional and friendly and explains things clearly.  The price of the repair was more than fair.  A great company that I would strongly recommend and we will definitely be using again if we need any service in the future.

Had Dupage Water come out to replace a water softener and haul away the old one. He was very professional, providing some good advice on plumbing. I was overly impressed with how well he knew the system I bought. He definitely made it look easy to do.

They were quick to respond and answered my questions. There's even when I had a follow up phone call to make and they held it very quickly.

I'm very happy that my water treatment system is now fully operational. A little pricey but worth it to have a working system. Technician was very knowledgable of the entire system.

The work was completed in 2009 and I remember all the work being completed in a professional manner.

The representative arrived on time. He tested our water and gave us an analysis. He recommended a new type of system. We had to treat our water for a week before they could come back and install the new equipment. Once the new equipment was installed we could drink water directly from our tap for the first time since we moved in in 1995.

I did some cleanup work before hand to make it as easy as possible for him to work on my softener. This worked great as he didn't have to waste time cleaning up the tank and I got the valve fixed in short time. Couldn't be happier with the work done.

He was in and out in 1 hour and fixed the valve which was leaking.

The salesman, Fred, was on time. He explained the new unit and offered next day installation which I accepted. They came on time the next day and installed the new unit and hauled off the old equipment. They explained how to run the new unit. Two days later I noticed a slight leak by the connection to the water meter. It was after hours on a Friday so I left voicemail. Promptly on Monday morning when the office opened, they returned my call. Someone from the company came out that day to tighten the loose connection. Problem solved!

My water softener was not recharging. I called Dupage Water Conditioning and was given an appointment for the following day. Technician arrived earlier than scheduled which was great. He was very professional, got right to the job, cleaned up, then explained to me the problem. He cleaned the injector and screen and reset the timer. Everything was completed within half an hour. I was VERY pleased.

I had a rented softener for the last 7 years. For the last year it has not worked well (sometime not at all.) Called a few companies from Angie's List to purchase a softener. This company was very prompt in returning my call and gave me a comprehensive explanation of the various parts of effective water softening. They were punctual and professional (and very clean) when they did the installation.

The company I used before went out of business so I was looking for a company to service my water softener and reverse osmosis unit. The water softener did not need attention but the filters needed to be changed in my R/O unit. The technician came out in a very timely manner and changed the filters. He also checked the membrane for me by running a test of my water and determined that it needed to be changed, so he did that as well. He was very efficient and pleasant. The cost was comparable to what other companies charge for the same service. I intend to use this company on a yearly basis for filter changes and as needed to service my water softener.

I emailed the company Monday morning, and got a response by email within 2 hours. They offered to come out that afternoon, but I wasn't home until late that day. The technician came out 8:00am Tuesday morning. Great response time and great quality work.

The service man replaced our 30 year old water softener that was not working. He took away the old system. Two weeks later I had a question about the system. A representative came two days after I called in and answered my questions and did not charge me for the visit.

The technician, Bill Eichhorst, came at the appointed time. Upon entering our home, he put on plastic booties over his shoes to protect the floors from the outside dirt. Bill took the time to explain how the system worked, since we're new to using water softening systems.

Softener works great! No problems whatsoever.
