The team upgraded our wood deck with a composite deck. They were very competitive compared to others in the area and found them to be very professional. What we didn't expect - when critters chewed through the lighting wires 2 years later, the crew fixed the problem for free.

We had Backyard Images replace our old rotted main deck with a new TimberTech deck with Evolutions Contemporary Railing and accent lighting, as well as replacing a small landing on the side of the house. We got a lot of quotes from various deck builders, and Andy was the only one who gave us a complete quote without forgetting/leaving out something, or quoting something other than what we'd discussed. His quote included a detailed drawing that showed all the dimensions, as well as a 3D picture of what the finished deck would look like. We had settled on TimberTech products after comparing them side-by-side with Trex at a local supply company...the TimberTech looked much nicer. Backyard Images' price was very competitive with that of other deck builders, and they had a higher level of detail. Backyard Images has the highest certification that TimberTech gives to their installation pros, and they have been building decks for many years, so I felt comfortable with them. Andy was very helpful in discussing the various lighting options, and different options in the way we wanted the deck to look, such as beveling a few of the corners of the deck. Andy was very hands-on throughout the project. He gave us the initial quote, handled all the permits, and was on-site helping with the installation on many of the days. The deck took about two weeks to complete, all the inspections went smoothly, and their team kept the worksite area very clean. The framing for the deck is extremely solid, and the deck is beautiful. We are looking forward to spending many afternoons and evenings this summer enjoying our new deck. We couldn't be any happier with Backyard Images, and would hire them again in a second.

Backyard images did our deck. We couldn't be happier with the results!! Every detail of the deck is honestly perfect. It's built into a small hill which I was nervous about however it turned out great and Andy even installed a door for storage underneath the deck. It has heavy duty attractive black hinges as well so it's not an eye sore! We did some lighting on the stairs and posts which I highly recommend as it is gorgeous even at night time! Andy brought up different concerns along the way about different things such as vents and what not and made everything work and accessible in an aesthetically pleasing way. In addition the deck was put up in under a week and on schedule which as far as stuff like this goes, typically never happens. They are competitive as far as pricing but I think they did much better then anyone else would have. I am very happy with the results and I would highly recommend them! :)

Andy was helpful during planning, his quote was reasonable, and he and his crew did an excellent job removing our old deck and installing our new deck. He met all commitments and completed the work ahead of schedule. Highly recommended.

Andy provided exactly what we agreed on regarding the design and materials. The quality of his workmanship was beyond expectation. Even through brutally cold weather he did not rush the job and kept a clean work site every day. I would recommend him to anyone.

Andy is very good with customer service, explanations and follow-up. He provided an estimate and followed through on the contract price. He was able to accommodate to my construction schedule. His crew was on time, worked a full day, and were very polite. Everything went smooth and as planned.
