On a Sunday afternoon our garage door went kaput. I called a few local garage door repairmen--Lake County answered and said they could be there at 8 am on Monday, so that's what I went with. They didn't show up until 9 am, but with such short notice I thought that was understandable and acceptable. The spring was clearly broken and they replaced that. One sensor was not functioning properly so they replaced that as well. The garage door still would not work, so the diagnosis is that we need an entirely new opener.
The service went fine, under the circumstances.

My garage door broke on a Friday night. Tried to find someone to come fix it on Saturday, but no luck. Fortunately my car was outside. But Lake County Door came right out on Monday. Friendly. Did a good job and cleaned up everything. I would definitely use them again.

I have used them three times in the past and they have always been very professional. The technicians always do a great job. They are friendly, informative, and let you know what is going to be done. They stick with the estimate as well.

We had a renter moving in, so I needed the garage door fixed ASAP. I called to find out if someone could go over, take a look, and give us a rough estimate of what it would cost to fix it. Their schedule was busy that day, but they were able to go out a few days later. The technician called as promised and quoted me a price to fix it, I agreed, he fixed it and I received a call from the office manager to pay the bill by phone (we are not local to the property). A few days later we were at the property and the door worked better than it had before the tree fell on it!

They were excellent. They did a great job. They showed up when they said they would. They were very affordable in comparison to the other quotes I got. They were professional and cleaned everything up when they were done. It was great.

They are professional and very knowledgeable about their product to do the repairs.

I was told on the phone that the unit could be fixed by just changing a gear, which surprised me. That's what the man did - very uneventful.

The estimate process was fine. The person that I spoke with helped me with pricing and provided a pretty fair estimate. He told me I needed springs and a new door.

Lake County Door did a good job repairing the springs on my garage door, but we found the price was a little higher than what they had charged last time around, which was a few years ago. They were also hard to get a hold of.

My garage door was making more noise than I thought it should be, and it was unbalanced. I had just installed a new garage door opener, so I thought it would be a good idea to make sure the door is in good working order. I called up Lake County Door, they were willing to come out the same day, but I couldn't be home in time for that to happen. They came out the next day. I told the guy what the problems were, and left him to do his work. When he was done, he went over with me everything that he had done. He also gave me some pointers that I could do that would allow me to prolong the life of my garage door. It was a good experience. He didn't try and replace things that didn't need replacing, or try and do anything that was unnecessary.

They were very good, and did affordable work. But, the company does not handle weekend/evening calls for residential customers.

We called on a Friday because of a broken garage door and were promised that a technician would stop by the following Monday. Unfortunately, this did not happen. We also haven't heard back from ''Lake County Door'', although we had provided all of our contact information.

I had a garage built last year and ever since, the garage door has not worked properly. I tried to fix it and it just wouldn't work right, so I called Lake County door and the estimate they gave me over the phone, matched what it cost. They came out on time, quickly figured out what the problem was (a reversed bearing) and fixed it. They also moved the glass panel to the top of the door, instead of being the second from the top, which I don't think they charged extra for. Overall, they did a great job and exceeded my expectations.

The gentleman in the office at Lake County Door was very friendly when he took my work order. They were able to schedule the repair at a time that was convenient for me. The day of the repair, the tech called my office and gave me 30 minutes notice of his arrival time (as requested). He arrived on-time and completed the job in about an hour. While he was only there to replace the springs, he went the extra mile and lubed and tightened the door opener as well. Overall excellent service. I would definitely recommend Lake County Door!
