Turned out there were issues with the existing pump, which this work addressed..  However, cost for work, given that it was a 1/2 day job with no new major equipment for a plumber and an assistant was way high.  This was in the midst of a larger project that was being delayed, so we went ahead with the work.  
They decided not to move the ejector pump, so no new pit installed (less work for them, no refund for us), however, now a floor drain looked like it was needed.  We asked about it, were told by the plumber it was not needed.  And, now there are issues with condensation with no where to drain.   The general contractor has a tube running now from the pump across the floor to a drain by the site where the new ejector was supposed to go.  
It has been weeks, and they have not come back to rectify the issue.  So, we overpaid to get it done and new issues were created and are being left unaddressed by "XPert."
