Swenson Sealcoat

It went terrible. They did not show up the day scheduled and I had to email to find out what was going on, the next day they showed up and did a terrible job. There was and still is tar all over the grass. There was tar on the sidewalk and pave stone. Chunks of tar on the driveway and they didnt even finish the apron part of the driveway and didnt not contact me about it. I again and to email them to fix and finish the driveway seal. The job resulted in them having to use a water pressure for over an hour which highly increased my water bill and got tar on my flowers.. The entire drive way seal was completed over the coarse of a week when the day of service should of been a matter of an hour. We will NEVER use this company again.

Very easy to work with, I called & was told someone would get back to me the next day which happened promptly in the morning. I was given an estimate which was $30 less than another local company had given me, & I scheduled the sealcoating for 3 days later - 3 workers arrived that morning, they did a good job, final price was the same as the quote. Very pleased & will use Swenson Sealcoat again.

Very professionally done - from start to finish !!!

When I contacted Swenson to have the work done on my driveway the person asked me if I wanted to have cracks filled which would cost an additional $18. I said they should do it if the driveway needed it. After the job was finished I noticed there are several cracks at the bottom and top of the driveway that were not filled. They did not charge me but it seems like they should have been filled. So somewhat disappointed.

It went very well. I called, they got me on the schedule, a week later they came when they said they would, they did the job quickly, and I paid online. I'm not sure it could have been easier. And my driveway hasn't been sealed in over 12 years, and it looks fabulous. I would recommend them again to anyone.

It was a little hard to get ahold of Swensons, but it was well worth the wait. I had been having trouble finding anyone who would come out to Beach Park and sealcoat my driveway, but was able to reach Swenson in Wauconda. It is about 45 min drive from Wauconda to beach park and another 45 back, but Swenson agreed to come out and perform the sevice for $100. I told him that I would gladly pay him another $50 dollars to make the trip for travel time (as I said really hard time finding anyone). I told him that I would have the money waiting for him at the house. He came out the next day and performed the work, but my wife must not have heared the door bell. He completed the work and simply left the bill in my mail box. He did a great job, my driveway looks like new, and I hope to uses Swenson in the future.

They were the ones who honestly did do the job. They squeezed me in the same day that I called them. They were great with respect to responsiveness. However, they got a little sloppy on the edges so I called them on it and they did come out to repair it, but it took them a while. It took them about 2 and half weeks to come back. They did do it though. Their price was very good. Their responsiveness was a bit of a challenge. I would use them again in the future if need be.

I called and someone came out and did the job the next day! Cost was $10-15 cheaper than what I'd been paying another company to do for years.

I received their information through an estimate they place in our mailbox. We had planned to do the job ourselves but the price was so reasonable we decided to use Swenson Sealcoat. I contacted Scott via email. His replies were brief and sometimes did not answer my questions. I felt I had to ask several times in different ways to get an answer. Nonetheless, we had the work performed. He was unable to provide an exact time until the night before (even then it was a range). We weren't there when the work was performed. He left a bill and the work was well performed.

They called me back within 10 minutes of me leaving a message and were in the area and sent over a crew within the hour to give me a quote. The price was very reasonable given how long our driveway is, so they were able to perform the work on the spot. We were very concerned about not having any drips onto the white concrete border and they did a fantastic job. They were unbelievably quick, clean and courteous. I would definitely recommend use them again.

I inquired about their company seal coating my driveway and they asked if tomorrow would be OK. The next day 2 guys came out gave me a price on the spot and I told them to go ahead. They then proceeded to clean the driveway and apply the tar based seal coat. It looks like they did an excellent job and they were very pleasant to talk to. I will use them again next year.
