Sunset Exteriors, Inc.

Bruce Schimkus was the first person from this company with whom I had contact.  He is their head sales representative.  I was referred to him by a friend who had had windows installed by Sunset Exteriors.  Bruce came out and did an initial visit to my home and took estimated measurements in order to prepare an estimate.  He provided me with a final estimate within a week of his visit.  I, in the meantime, contacted several other window companies and found that for similar windows, they wanted to charge me anywhere from $12,000 to $18,000.  Although they may have had superior products, I did not have that kind of budget to do the work.  Bruce came in with an estimate of $6,349 for the same work to be done.  Based on my friends recommendation and the company's volume business and reputation, I decided to go with Sunset.

Shortly after I met with Bruce to sign the contract, John came out and did the final measurements.  I was told that the windows would take about two weeks to be manufactured, but in less than ten days I was notified that the windows were ready for installation.  The crew came out on a Saturday (so I would not have to take time off of work), removed all of my old windows and installed all the new windows and the patio door by 5:00 p.m. that day.   The team initailly started out with two people, but increased in size to five people by the middle of the afternoon.   They did a beautiful job of insulating the windows with foam and a beautiful job in caulking the windows.  All debris was removed from the site before their departure.

The crew was fantastic.  They really knew what they were doing and made the job look so simple. I had 23 year old aluminum windows that I could not even open.  These new vinyl, double glazed windows are wonderful.  I can open the large kitchen window above my sink with just one finger.  It slides up so easily.

I am thrilled with the windows and cannot recommend this company more highly.  They are very professional and do an excellent job.
Bruce was wonderful.  He gave me an immediate estimate and did not hound me or harrass me into committing to the purchase.  Sunset is very fortunate to have such a great sales representative!

Great! They came out the day they said. Fixed all repairs and cleaned up after themselves. When I asked for estimate they forgot to include chimney repair, so company did not charge me for repair and fixed problem at the original estimate. Will hire again to install patio door in future.
