"Thank you so much for the great review!! It was a pleasure!!"
"First and foremost we do apologize that your dealing with issues Angela, however, like we've stated, and will stand by, the ridge vent is NOT the issue. Your allegations are incorrect. You are having a condensation issue due to the overabundance of soffit intake, poor insulation allowing excess heat into your attic, and no internal baffles. All of which we've gone into great detail with you and the previous owner. To be clear, you purchased this home back in 2020, and for the last 4 years that you've owned the home we've heard absolutely nothing from you. The previous owner passed on our suggestions and unfortunately you're dealing with the repercussions. You have 0 issues in the summer and only have issues in the winter... further proving what is happening in your attic space. Without addressing these issues we've pointed out you'll be having the same exact problems next winter, even with your new ridge vent. As for our 10 year WORKMANSHIP warranty, we always stand by it. If we installed something incorrect, we fix it. We politely asked you for any documentation from these other contractors stating that the ridge vent was the issue... you wouldn't supply them. Going forward we highly suggest that you look into taking care of the real issue. Thank you. - Timothy "Tim" Carden"
"We recommended at the time of roof installation that the skylights be replaced, yet the homeowner did not want to replace them, just use the old ones instead. When we came out to address the warranty issue presented by the homeowner, we determined the leaking to be caused by one of the skylights. During our assessment of the issue, as a courtesy to the customer, we caulked the skylight that was leaking at the time, which corrected the initial issue. Since that time, we had been called back to the property again in spring, and determined the issue to be one of the other skylights on the home. At this time we did not caulk the skylight as a courtesy as the skylights were not replaced by us, and not a part of our warranty as we can not warranty work and material that we did not install. The third time we were called to the property, we told the homeowner that the issue was already determined to be from the skylights, and that we would need a third party opinion on the matter since the homeowner and our company had differing views on the issue. As we expressed to the homeowner, most roofing companies would be happy to come out and provide a free assessment. We told them that if a 3rd party found our workmanship, or anything other than the skylight to be an issue, we would happily rectify the issue. We have been to this house 2 or 3 times for the warranty claim since building the roof in 2018."
