Excellent.  They were prompt, very friendly in person and on the phone, properly estimated.

I've used Prate for years -- on a previous replacement of a roof on a home I owned and a family member's home (also a reroof). I've recommended them to others because I've always been pleased with their work. 
I called for a repair on a new home -- a leaking window was the issue. The office set up the appointment; the serviceman cancelled. I called the office, and a female employee said she would call back and never did. The repairman called later in the week and asked for times that would work (for the estimate). I left him a message with two available times - one 4 hour morning and one afternoon.
I didn't get a call back. 
Do I call the office? Not again. I'm moving on and getting an estimate elsewhere. I need someone who will do the small stuff because they are the company I'll call when I need a major repair.

The service person from Prate spent over 2 hours with a hose on our roof diagnosing the problem...He never charged me a dime for his time!  Once he diagnosed the leak, the people from Prate quickly forwarded me a quote and the leak was repaired!   We are looking forward to replacing the entire roof next year, and will definitely call them back!

When they installed a new roof on my house in the early 90's, I had raccoons coming in the house and they fixed that for me. They cleaned up well too. I would use them again in the future.

Disappointed that they did not call and came out and did the work when I was not home.

Terrible experience. They started on time but then it took many more weeks to repair roof than was originally promised. Also, they caused considerable damage to the house (screens, windows, driveway) and landscaping (destroyed bushes). They were very slow to complete the subsequent repairs and I had to follow-up much too often to get them to actually complete their promised work. Also, the siding installation took several months to complete and one whole side of the house had to be re-done. Also, don't have them install any windows, they don't have anyone on staff who really knows what they are doing here.

Excellent. They came out when they said they would and gave me a quote on the roof. They even performed a "leak" test with the garden hose to eliminate an area. They were very honest, and they fixed my leak.

UPDATE:  My roof starting leaking again - only worse - after 9 months.  Also found numerous nails in the grass. They also nailed a big pile of shingles to my roof in a spot I could not see.

They told us at first there was no maintenance required. However, years later it has began leaking. I cannot recommend this company for long term.

They were very good. They came out and did the work well. They did not use the air gun, only the hammer. I would recommend them to anyone who needed the service.

I would recommend Prate Installations to anyone! I struggled getting other roofers to even call me back for such a small job, but Prate returned my call within an hour, scheduled the visit for the next day, and arrived on-time. The gentleman who came out was polite, professional, and very helpful. He finished the work quickly and efficiently. I am very satisfied with the service as a whole.

THEY GENERALLY DID A GOOD JOB CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES. NAILS WERE LEFT IN THE YARD AND ON THE ROOF.

WE SIGNED A CONTRACT & THEY DIDNT LET US KNOW FOR 6 WEEKS, WHEN THEY WERE COMING OUT. THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT.
