The entire experience was a positive one. Eric responded same day to our phone call, visited the site on our schedule, and got us an estimate within two days. Frequent texts kept us up to date on when the work would be scheduled (dodging rain days), and the timing of when the workers would arrive. A final review before work started ensured the job was done correctly. The work team showed up, and using a lift and ropes, they took down our trees efficiently and effectively. Very cool machine that has the lift on it. They chipped down all branches from the live trees and left us with a nice pile to use as mulch. Kept the job site neat and made sure we had no hits to the roof. Very friendly and easy to communicate with the team. Will do business with them again when needed.

Mid-West was the very first company to contact us. We had one very low bid, but that company balked at providing us with documentation of their insurance, whereas Mid-West Tree immediately emailed us their documentation. Their estimate wasn't the highest, or the lowest, but they inspired my confidence from the get-go. A higher bid from a well-known company would have cost even more if they had used a lift that would have caused less stress on our lawn, whereas Mid-West's bid was the same for using a lift, rather than a cherry picker. Even then, they put plywood down on our yard to protect it from damage. Their stump grinder was in for repairs, so they had to come back a couple days latter to grind out the stump. In both cases, they called me to let me know when they were about to arrive and they arrived on time to boot. I asked for additional business cards so that I could recommend them to my neighbors, so obviously I am a satisfied customer.

Required removal of a large tree that was too close to the house and trimming of a smaller tree. Eric from Mid-West provided a proposal and made changes upon request. Was very responsive. Service was professional and they hauled away all debris.
