GROH WORKS LANDSCAPING

Groh Works Landscaping Service is not reputable. The owner Jeff assured me that he could quickly complete my extra landscape projects, In order to get me to switch over to their mowing service. Then Jeff completely ignored my requests to get the extra work scheduled. Groh Works mowing crew also damaged my sprinkler system, and they ignored my requests to fix it. I tried for several weeks to work with them on these issues with no results which resulted in my yard looking very shabby for most of the summer. So I had to switch lawn services and pay for the sprinkler repair myself. I deducted the $80 for the sprinkler repair from their final bill, and now Groh Works is harrassing me for the $80

I fired them this spring after he missed 3 promised dates on mulching.

Jeff bought in his team and did a superb job. We doubled the size of our patio and and put in a surround of Copthorne brick and Brussels pavers. It is perfect and we are sorry only that we waited so long. Great job Jeff and Groh Works!!!

It took a while from the time job was estimated to the time they showed up to do the work.  This is the companies weak point.  They say they will be there in a week and you are lucky if they show up in a month.

They sent 3 to 5 men who worked diligently on the project until it was finished.  They did a good job and took direction well as we had to make some decisions as they went.  The men were professional, polite and respectful of property.  They left things very clean and neat.

The year before a tree was planted and it died.  It was replaced with no problem

When the bill for service arrived, it was for more than estimate.  We had some negotiation on the final bill and came to an agreement  on what the final price would be.

We've been using Groh Works for snow removal for the past 5 or 6 years.  The agreement is to come automatically any time is snows more than 2 inches.  They have never failed to come any time that happens.  We especially appreciate that they will come very early in the morning so our driveway is clear for us to get to work.

We’ve used them a number of times in the past. They are easy to work with and, for the price that they are charging, they do a good job. We had a little bit of difficulty getting a hold of them this time.

It went VERY WELL! We have used this company before, and they are a such a pleasure to work with--we don't even call anyone else! Jeff, the owner, is wonderful--very friendly and pleasant to work with and the crews he sent to do the work were top notch. I really appreciated that Jeff worked to get things done before my son's First Communion. The weather had not been cooperating and they were trying to wait until things dried out a bit so the equipment they would need to bring in would not further damage the yard. When it got down to the wire, Jeff sent his crew out anyway and they hand-dug everything so the job could still be done since the ground was still too wet for the heavier equipment!! And not only did they go the extra mile here, but the work they did was just beautiful! The patio went back together even better than I had hoped and the grounds just look wonderful. We were definitely able to enjoy being outside with our company for the party. Everything priced out exactly as Jeff quoted in the estimate. We DEFINITELY recommend this company and will use them in the future for sure.

It's excellent. They get back to us right away. Compared to the other prices I checked in our area, they are very fair. They are probably the best landscaping company I have used. He really understands plants and he knows what to plant in our area.

The plan was well detailed and very thoughtful because it included several ideas my wife and I offered to Jeff prior to development of the plan. Jeff's crew showed up within a day or two of the targeted start date, and they finished the project within a few days of the projected finish date. The crew cleaned up after themselves each day, which enabled our driveway to be usable during the project.

Jeff Groh personally came to do the quote, start the crew, and review the work upon completion. Crew of 4 worked 11 hours on first 2 items. Very detailed, competent, respectful, hard working. The quote was written and not a cent changed during the course of the projects. A real person was always available by phone when I had questions. The quality is outstanding. The best yard on the block. Jeff was very open to discussing the yard needs and letting me pick and choose which items I would tackle and which I would leave to him. He can even drop off flats of flowers at discount pricing for me to plant myself. Jeff's knowledge was outstanding; he has a degree in horticulture and 20 years experience. The level of customer service is far and above any other I've seen in this category. Groh Works is my best Angie's list find yet!

A huge job done with expertise. Our one acre property was severely overgrown and neglected. Groh Works team hit it hard, but with "TLC". Did great grading work in a wooded area, limbed up a large patio tree, installed a small amt of high quality sod, and did a thorough clean-up, weed preventer over all areas and mulching of shredded hardwood around beds and wood chips in the wooded area. For the quality of the work done, the amount paid was reasonable. We have contracted for weekly maintenance which includes mowing and trimming. The crew was knowledgeable about how to trim shrubs, and even uncovered a small rose bush under tons of weeds! An A+ overall.

Jeff came personally to view the area & offer suggestions as well as listen to what I wanted. He is very qualified in his field & dedicated to a quality product. I recommend them highly, especially if you need some suggestions or alternatives to be presented. The company is not the cheapest nor the most expensive. They grow their own trees rather than getting them from another supplier, which I liked. My only slight dissatisfaction is in responsiveness, but so far my overall satisfaction is high.

EXCELLENT. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT AND THEIR ESTIMATE CAME IN AT ALMOST 1/3 LESS THAN ALL OF THE OTHERS. THEY DID A GREAT JOB ON THE ACTUAL WORK AS WELL.

GROHS DID A GOOD JOB. OWNER TOOK THE TIME TO WALK THE GROUNDS WITH US LAST FEBRUARY, AND GOT A REASONABLE QUOTE TO US IN A TIMELY MANNER. GROHS CAME OUT AROUND THE END OF MARCH/EARLY APRIL AND DID THE SPRING CLEAN UP. EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT. IF THE SUMMER, FALL, AND REGULAR WEEDING CLEAN UPS ARE DONE AS WELL AS THE SPRING CLEAN UP, WE WILL BE VERY HAPPY.

WE USE THIS COMPANY FOR OUR REGULAR YARD WORK AND SNOW REMOVAL. THEY WERE METICULOUS WORKERS ANE COMMUNICATED VERY WELL ABOUT ALL ASPECTS OF THIS JOB. VERY PROFESSIONAL.

WE HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR 3 YEARS. THEY ARE VERY RESPONSIVE IF YOU ENCOUNTER ANY PROBLEMS. THEY CHARGE A VERY GOOD RATE TO MOW OUR 5 ACRE YARD. (ALTHOUGH WE GET A DISCOUNT PRICE BECAUSE OTHER NEIGHBORS USE THEIR SERVICE.)

THEIR WORK WAS EXCEPTIONAL. VERY DETAIL ORIENTED. VERY COMPETENT. THE WORKERS WERE ALL VERY FRIENDLY.

SO RELIABLE AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED. I HAVE A VERY LARGE DRIVEWAY THAT THEY DO FOR $33. IF YOU TELL THEM WHAT YOU WANT, THEY WILL FOLLOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU REQUEST. IVE USED THEM FOR 10 YEARS NOW.
