The valve has failed and the service provider is not willing to work with me to get the issue resolved in a cost effective manner. They want to charge me to repair the valve again. There is also a supply pipe that is failing they are quoting me too. They offered to fix the supply pipe initially, but told me that it was not an immediate concern. This is an issue now because they are telling me that the supply pipe is most likely the reason for the backflow valve failure. If they would have informed me of this during the initial job, I would have had them fix both the supply pipe and the backflow valve to extend the life of the system.
